Such a beautiful experience to sample gorgeous food and atmosphere. The Christmas menu was excellent with a huge selection and the expresso martinis were stunning.

My partner and I came here to celebrate my birthday. I was confused and disappointed by the experience to be honest. The interior is a clash of design styles - there’s a tween bedroom style mural on the wall, upmarket modern style glasses and tableware, with shabby chic water pitchers and tables. The menu can’t be viewed before you go and was short and didn’t cater to all types. For example there were two dishes (out of 4 options) with pork. The plating was nice and the food was well presented. The veggie option was basically a veggie sausage roll with a stem of broccoli. It tasted so bland. My partner had the pork and said it was good. I wouldn’t go back.

Venison was delicious - would definately recommend this. The scallop starter was too small sadly for the price you’re paying.

Well overpriced food for a very small meal. The Mushroom Wellington was 98% pearl barley, the Sea Bass fillet was so small and slighly crispy, I left there hungry and had to go home to eat something else.Someone else, who we didn't know, in the restaurant that evening told us the next day that their meals were also very poor. They also add a 12.5% service charge onto the bill.

Expensive, small portion and overcooked. The Mushroom Wellington was 98% pearl barley and tough pastry, the Sea Bass fillet was so small and slighly overcooked. The Chocolate mouse was very small. I had to go home and eat something else. A couple near us also said their food was very poor.

We had a meal for five last night and it was so lovely. I absolutely loved my cured fish, and the taste was incredible. The others had the Jerusalem artichoke and they loved it too. Stunning flavours and the presentation of each dish was so beautiful.

A return visit for us to this lovely local restaurant. It's definitely high on our list of 'treat' places to eat around Falmouth. The food is excellent (cured sea trout and sea bass for me and hummus and salmon for my wife), lovely wine. Great service from Anastasia too, reasonable prices. Thanks to the chef too.

Another really good meal at Restaurant Four in Falmouth. Imaginative delicious food. Quick, attentive but unobtrusive service (Anastasia). Fair prices (similar to less good local restaurants). Highly recommended.

Every time we visit Falmouth we dine in Restaurant Four. We have been several times and always had an excellent meal and service. This time we enjoyed some Hake and Sea Bream both cooked and presented well. We enjoyed Pear & Plum Crumble for dessert. The Wines were also very good and reasonably priced. Thanks to the Chef for the excellent food and to Anastasia who made sure our evening went well. We will certainly return to restaurant four next time we are in Falmouth.
Our final dinner on our Coastal path adventure for this year. We had started from Falmouth the previous year and Four was still shut after the lockdowns. I'm so glad we finally made it. Lovely food, presented well. Nice wine, excellent service, and great atmosphere (helped by the couple on the window who had just got engaged). Highly recommended.

The meal, taste, the wine, the service by Miranda was first class and exceptional. The ambience was great even for a Monday. A must place if Falmouth.

We had a reservation and ordered drinks. When served we asked the wine and second be served soon after. The waitstaff set at the register and chatted for over 20 minutes. Finally went up and asked about our drinks. Then we got our meal and the drinks came after. This is a “ nicer” restaurant and it is unacceptable to call it that with such poor service. The people behind us had to ask for their bill twice. The food is ok, but not that impressive. Traveled for several weeks in Cornwall and this was an exception. Service everywhere else has been great, even at lower prices.

We had a couple of family visits whilst on holiday. Objectively, I’m afraid the food was average. Not sure the chef is yet up to destination status. Staff attentive & helpful, great location & nice atmosphere, so not a total loss. The venue seems to be a little overhyped. Two better restaurants up the hill.
