We had a birthday lunch and fine wine, both were excellent, all the staff gave us an excellent experience , all in a beautiful location . Totally recommended.

Nov23: spent one night in a double room facing the road. Room was great. Bathroom great. No noise from within or outside. Bed clean and comfy. Great location, within a few mins walk to the high street. Stay slightly let down by breakfast. 'Required to give a time the night before when we wanted breakfast! Breakfast itself was underwhelming... Full English (the hotels version) was perfectly cooked however very, very small. Good job we could fill up a bit more with toast. Will stay again however have a better breakfast elsewhere. A shame really as the view from the restaurant area is fantastic.

Went for my wife's Christmas party, the food was great, service was exceptional and the entertainment was really very good. We also stayed the night The room was spotless, bed was very comfy and the shower made me feel like I'd never really properly showered before that day.Highly recommended.

Amazing! The Hotel itself is stunning and the views are beautiful! Food wise, it is delicious. Portion size is small but it's classy as is the same at breakfast. For the full english not much was given but again it was devine. The staff are very friendly and welcoming!

We had such a wonderful afternoon tea at The Greenbank, as a mini baby shower for my daughter. Our table was quietly out of the way with a wonderful seaview and the food and drink perfect: a great selection of savoury and sweet treats and the fluffiest scones ever. The icing on the cake was the service: Amir was very welcoming and efficient and so kind to the little 2 year old with us. Thank you, Greenbank ??

We visited the hotel for dinner in the Waters Edge restaurant. We started the evening in the bar/lounge where we were excited to see a new cocktail menu. There are some brilliant 2 for 1 deals with really well thought out cocktails at 2 for £12 (bargain) 2 for £16 and then a higher price bracket again. We went for two from the £16 bracket and they were awesome! The cocktail bar staff really know their stuff and the table service is slick and friendly. After a couple of rounds of cocktails we headed through to the restaurant where we enjoyed a sublime 3 course meal crafted with fresh local ingredients. A highlight was the lemon sole. The whole team were friendly, welcoming and efficient. Can’t wait to come back.Food & drinks: Excellent choice, perfectly sized portions beautifully presented. We loved the cocktails in the bar!

Alisha and the team were absolutely fantastic at organising our wedding. The pressure and stress were taken away by the brilliant service. The Wedding Breakfast was amazing and the bedrooms stunning - all our guests were very impressed. Would definitely recommend the Greenbank for a wedding or private function!

What a fantastic little find in Falmouth! It’s absolutely divine. We booked 2 rooms and mummy wanted to have a sea view room and they happily obliged - we paid £80 more for 2 nights. We were happy with the street view room because we don’t look out anyway. The room was fresh and bed was comfortable. Pillows were good as well. Since it’s an old building it’s very quirky and charming as it’s not a straightforward up the lift and down a corridor. There’s the lift. And there’s a staircase where we accidentally ‘found’ and it leads to the main entrance. It’s truly charming. Florence Nightingale apparently stayed in one of the rooms and it’s aptly named after her. This is where the ‘secret’ staircase is.It’s historical with a modern decor. Divine!(Also walkable into town. Has free parking and a beautiful restaurant and pub on site with a lovely harbour view.) what’s not to like? (Reception could be friendlier but hey… perhaps they want to preserve what this country is world famous for. Its coldness lol)Food & drinks: Very good food!

Service was a little disappointing unfortunately but the food was great.I was initially greeted with a member of staff appearing from a staff area stuffing his untucked shirt in- busy tucking his shirt in, I didn't even get a hello.I was then told I didn't have a booking and it was suggested to me that a party member may have phoned to reschedule- this was of course not the case, I would have known in advance if 1 of the 3 of us had rescheduled.Thankfully they were still happy to seat us and I confirmed that we had booked for the Afternoon Sea.I was then sat in the bar area to wait for our table, where it took a good 10 minutes before I was asked if I wanted a drink- without a drink menu!I booked this table for three people well advanced. We were then informed that the Afternoon Sea was not available for three people! The menu says (minimum 2persons) suggesting it would be fine for anything over 2people and I was never told on the phone that it wasn't available for three people. With a little confusion between us and the waiter- they were sadly unwilling to make the tea up for 3 people. So we settled on adding some sides along with the Afternoon Sea.The food I cannot fault, it was cooked and presented beautifully and the staff were all very friendly dispite the few confusions.I would recommend the Afternoon Sea but perhaps only if you go in multiples of 2's and it would be good if that was explained when booking or stated more clearly on the menu.

Four Sunday roasts - two veggie and two meat - all delicious. Large portions, lots of veg, large Yorkshire puds and all served by friendly and helpful staff and all at a good price. Would highly recommend .. oh and try to get a window / harbour view!(One constructive comment - nut roast tasty but needs a crust / more texture / nuts or seeds etc)

Overall we had a great stay at the Greenbank Hotel. The rooms were clean, the staff were friendly and the location is great. The views of the harbour are fantastic and really offer a relaxing setting. There are a couple of points that need raising. While the hotel does allow dogs to stay (for an extra fee), your access to the full facilities are limited. Dogs are not allowed in the bar after 10:30am (breakfast) and not allowed in the restaurant at all. While some will welcome this, it did leave us slightly disappointed as we were away with our dog (who is very well behaved) and it left us unable to sample the food in the main restaurant,, which looked very nice. We were, however, very welcome in the Working Boat pub downstairs which has great staff, a lovely atmosphere and outstanding food. Although do expect to pay tourist prices. The rooms in the hotel were clean, nicely presented and the beds were relatively comfortable. Housekeeping come around daily but sadly they do run behind and at times seem to be cleaning rooms well past 4pm, which can be an inconvenience (as happened to us) when you want to head to your room for a few hours before dinner. The breakfast offering is fantastic, with a full variety of light and full meal options. Despite discovering a hair in the hollandaise sauce one morning, both me and my partner commented how impressed we were with offering. One suggestion I might add is to please bring the coffee out quicker and ideally first. Our room was very hot however the window opened enough to make a difference and the staff brought an extra fan to our room which made sleeping more comfortable. The Greenbank hotel does offer a slightly more sophisticated setting compared to some of the other hotels in Falmouth and with it being only a 5-7 minute walk from town, it’s ideal for those who want to stay central but slight away from the hustle and bustle.

Wow lovely hotel excellent staff. Food fantastic and the view of the harbour can't be beaten, will be back for lunch very soon. Can not say anything about rooms as we did not stay there, but going by everything else they got to be good.

Excellent location, good food and service. Superb views over looking Falmouth Harbour from restaurant and outdoor seating area. Premises built on uneven ground, so those a little unstable on their feet may need to check with the venue for most appropriate way to access restaurant and bar. Car parking is not great, limited spaces and not on level ground.
