Have stayed here a few times when visiting my sister in the area. Comfortable, clean, thoughtful decor, really scrummy breakfast offerings. We'll be back !

Good pub! Come here for a roast every now and then. They do brisket which is sometimes too quickly cooked but most of the time delicious. Drinks are great ?. Yorkshire's are lovely jubbly and potatoes are amazing !

Lovely pub. The staff and locals were all friendly and all said hello to our dog. Food was excellent and great quality, highly recommend.

Very nice friendly pub with lots of themed nights, personally looking forward to quiz night on Tue rather than karaoke on Friday. We had Sunday dinner last night and I should have said something rather than all good.... the portions were perfect size and overall it was lovely just a Yorkshire that was not cooked and cold and doughy in the inside and a hard ( would not say raw) parsnip. Would I go back again, yes for a pint but would probably skip the roast.

This pub is a hidden gem. Located at the top of the historic Jacobs Ladder steps. The pub is inviting and cosy. The staff are great especially Kirsten. He's a gentleman, lovely to chat with and fantastic bar man.Its a locals pub , they all seem like a fantastic bunch. Great live music and quiz nights. The food is spot on !

An infamous local fixture. Incredibly steep steps up a hill used to get in and out of town. Students regularity attempt to go up and down it on a night out. Sometimes resulting in a cracked rib and broken arm.

Called here for a drink, to avoid the chaos of the Sea Shanty Festival. Great place, very peaceful, although quite a few people partaking of their legendary Sunday Roast.A good price for both drinks and food.Even has a good dry cider, missing in most pubs, since the Inches takeover!!

Some of the best views over Fal harbour on the way there .Really enjoyed the Sunday roast brisket and it was fairly priced. Chill atmosphere, will be back.
