Gluten free/coeliac options available - with a gluten free fryer! The guy working there had family members with coeliac so was understanding and knowledgeable. They also had white wine vinegar as an alternative to malt vinegar. Excellent chips in a lovely location.

Stumbled upon this hidden gem on a birthday outing, and couldn’t have been happier! Lovely lunch, great service, superb location, would recommend!

Excellent !! Called in without having booked and made very welcome (with the dog). Very friendly staff and not a long wait for food. Not a huge menu but the fish pie was great and the gammon was tasty.

Great fish and chips overlooking the harbour. Good banter with the lady serving. Nothing not to like.

We stopped at Coverack for a walk around, and we were pleasantly surprised to see this venue open, particularly as it was almost 5 pm and I had assumed it would be closed. Initially I had planned to just have a drink, but we were given such a warm welcome and the menu looked delicious, so we opted for food as well. We weren’t disappointed, it was delicious. We both chose the gammon dish, my partner was ever so pleased as the dish came with egg and pineapple! Often he is asked to choose one or the other in other venues. The creme brûlée was the best I’ve ever had and was presented beautifully. The food was delicious, the staff were warm and friendly, the view was amazing and the dogs were made welcome too! Just perfect! An unexpected bonus was that we happened to be in time for happy hour for drinks! ? we couldn’t ask for more. ❤️

The chips are NOT PROPER FISH AND CHIP SHOP CHIPS. They are the precut frozen ones you get at a Chinese takeaway.£13.50 for regular fish and chips to takeaway you would expect fresh cut chips. No need to cut corners and offer this. Also spent £50.00 on takeaway fish and chips at the outside counter. Took at least 10 mins or longer and not busy. My child needed to use the toilet and rude staff made a scene when I asked if I could take him to the toilet in the restaurant. The sign says for customers only. Which we were. Was disappointed with the food. The fish was ok. Decent size but then again it should be for the price.Do proper chips no need for shortcuts! The chips tasted not good ?Only chippy for miles so they will get business regardless but defo not worthy of one of the top 20 in the UK. Sorry.

We been to Coverack over many years and had takeout from here with no complaints from my family. This time, we came for Breakfast with a view.Lady who served us was welcoming and friendly.Breakfasts were freshly cooked, so don't expect super fast food; quantity is worth your time and if visiting the area what's the rush? The gent from the kitchen came to check everything was meeting our expectations, for the record it exceeded ours.Read some strange reviews about poor service and quality. Not our findings at all!Recommend, but always treat people as you expect to be treated and nothing but good will come of it?

Amazing quality food. The fish was delicious and the batter really crispy. The staff were incredibly friendly, chatty and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend a meal here, the building is wonderfully placed for a fantastic experience.
