Met by very friendly staff. Restaurant ambience was not overly cosy for a January evening. Lighting was a bit harsh and it felt quite cold. Really don't want to be negative as hospitality are really struggling at the moment. We did however feel that the food was overpriced. £22 for fish and chips and £28 for a small steak, mash, some seared lettuce and three onion rings. The staff were lovely and the food tasty but we didn't feel it was good value for money.

Fish Friday Fish and Chips to Take Away. Excellent service, great value and lovely food. Always a good experience eating in but enjoyed Fish and Chips takeaway tonight.

Walked from Mylor to flushing in the rain and went for a roast at The Waterside, absolutely amazing, large portion, great quality and tasty food. Room cosy and staff very polite and accommodating. Highly recommend. They were also doing roast as a take away aswell.

Nice cake and coffee with friendly service. Wheelchair friendly but small and tight inside, pick a warm sunny day and sit outside ?.As usual with Cornish villages parking and vehicle access is 'interesting'.Wheelchair accessibility: Busy inside but possible. Nice outdoor area.

Great little restaurant, delicious food and great service. Small menu but all the dishes we tried were really very good. A big shout out to the girl, sorry we didn't catch your name, who was front of house and who was fantastic. Catered easily for dietary requirements with diary and gluten free in our group. Would recommend without a seconds thought.

Tucked away in the tiny village of Flushing on the quay side by the ferry is this lovely quiet restaurant. We initially went in to have just a drink and got talking to the chef who was very friendly and welcoming. He mentioned that it was advisable to book so we did. The food was delicious and well presented. I had my favourite which is ray and my husband had hake and chips. We didn’t have dessert as we had shared a baked Camembert to start. As we were staying locally we booked again another night and we both had ribeye steak which was cooked to perfection. We will definitely go again next time we are in the vicinity.

This fish restaurant is at a dream location with views overlooking Falmouth Harbour and situated in the beautiful, somewhat idyllic village of Flushing. We arrived at lunchtime, midweek on an absolutely beautiful day and we had no trouble parking or getting a table, inside or out.The menu was a little limited but I could have happily had any of the options on the menu.My wife and I both went for the monkfish fish and chips at £22, served with tartar sauce and salad leaves. The portions were generous and mine was absolutely delicious. There was an slight issue with my wife's, and another diner's, over their fish being slightly over cooked but this was satisfactorily dealt with by the very professional and efficient staff and everybody was happy. I took at look at dishes served to other diners and they looked fabulous too.Would we go there again? Absolutely and probably for their Sunday lunch.Parking: Parking looks tricky but the restaurant has dedicated parking spaces at the end of the jetty.

Lovely evening, eating outside watching the sun go down over the river! We both had fresh lobster cooked in garlic, with hedgerow salad and chips, just delicious! Then couldn’t resist the homemade caramel, spiced rum tart with clotted cream to finish, just yummy! Well cooked, generous portions with a friendly, unobtrusive service.Very good value for money, really would recommend!Parking: A few parking places on site but alternatively there’s lots of free street parking nearby!

We visited as a small group of family members and sat out on the benches. The area was busy due to the Tallship in Falmouth. Food and service were good. It was great that they have the benches that can't be booked, just operate as a first come first served basis. Would and will revisit!

Excellent food in an intimate restaurant on the quayside in Flushing. Great service too. Will be back to sample the breakfast over the weekend! On the way out, one of the local fishing boats moored at the quay to drop off fresh fish to the kitchen. Quality stuff.

A character-filled and intimate restaurant perched on the edge of a pier in the beautiful fishing village of Flushing. At first sight we expected a cafe but as we read the menu we had to book a table to experience the unusual dishes listed. They accommodated our large family party of ten plus two babies and we sampled around half of the menu washed down with some Atlantic Ale. Storm Antoni produced a dramatic backdrop to our meal resulting in a special occasion we will never forget. The food was excellent and good value for money and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Superb.

We called in for an early supper. Food was great, a simple limited menu but everything sounded so good spoilt for choice. Had hake which was perfectly cooked and served on bed of seared veg sublime. It is a lovely place sitting on a pier with the Fal either side. Friendly service not hurried and relaxed. We both came out and said wow that is quite special.
