Our go-to takeaway! I absolutely love the cod and chips here.The quality of the food is sublime and the staff are always smiling and chatting with everyone. Definitely recommend to anyone nearby who fancies good quality fish and chips!

Got home to find something missing from my order. Called them to let them know and was greeted with a laugh saying “Oh yeah, you forgot it!” I said I hadn’t, they’d forgotten to give it to me! Shoddy response to their mistake. Won’t be back in a hurry!

I fancied some fish and chips so decided to pop in. Instead I get some muppet blocking the entrance while I'm outside freezing. It should be made more obvious that customers should stand aside so that more people can get in. I should probably have said something but the maybe the staff could have mentioned it? I don't have a car so have to get around by other means by walking or whatever so I was very cold and very hungry. I asked how long to do a medium cod and chips and the owner replied ten minutes. Rudely I might add. I point out that I was freezing and the entire establishment was disorganised. Instead of waiting I went over to Asda opposite, bought myself a pizza and saved myself five pounds in the process. £9.30 for medium cod and chips. Yeah no.

Great service, very friendly staff and the food is by far the best fish and chips I've had in a long time. I recommend it to anyone wanting fish and chips.Wheelchair accessibility: Perfectly adequate.

Everybody queued and I mean Everybody and there mothers (I'll be it nicely like that)I'm here only for this weekendI had fish cake with chips kids meal Which was enough but I also ordered a nugget on there own the blonde girl put it down as a meal. I won't be returning as they messed up on an order but the nuggets were nice and the people that run it are friendly. THERE IS NO NEED FOR THE DAMN QUEUING AND I'VE NEVER SEEN A CHIPPY RUN SO BADLYAVOID THIS PLACE AVOID.Good day to you all( tips hat)
Work at the local Timberstore and go in Dave's fairly frequently. Always amazing service with a smile and great humour/banter . I can't complain about the prices one bit.....take a trip to Tavistock ..you pay loads more and get a lot less! Dave's is 10 outa 10. Only thing I can moan about is his choice of football team....;)

Ask him about the under the counter special sausages you will not be disappointed I gobbled it down like a £10 hooker in a rush to get the job done. The fish is also genetically modified fish but it’s banging, keep up the good work Dave miss your face

If I could do minus 1 star on customer service I would also...as u can see the chips looks as though they've been eaten and spat back out ...when complaining about it they tell u to go elsewhere they don't take criticism so maybe they would prefer me doing this ?
