Came with kids and one sleeping baby at 14.50. Waitress said only serving till 3pm told her will come back from car park to bring kids and she said cant park either only for bar stuff. Went to repark came back waited in que at 3.02pm she said wont serve any food to late...I mean comon all the hussle to be told that absolute joke. Waitress is worthless

A Rolls Royce of beachside cafes!Sublime food, fantastic service, great contemporary design and possibly the best cafe views in the world.Visited a couple of times during our St Ives stay (family of 4 + Daschound) and cannot wait to return.
Sublime! We had guests visiting & booked for the fish Tapas night. We were the only ones in for the evening which was a shame for your staff - but it was such a special evening & felt like a private dining experience. Jo & CeCe were such fabulous hosts & really made our evening so special! And the food… 5 star! Every dish was absolutely delicious!

We met friends here for dinner and an evening of live music (provided by the Wave Machine). We had the Mackerel pate to start, Harissa Hake with seasonal roast veg (cooked to perfection) for main course - followed by a dessert to die for - the Prune & Chocolate sticky pudding with brandy cream (OMG!!). This was consumed with local beer and some beautiful white wine. The Cove cafe is perfectly located above the Riviere Towans beach - it is a wonderfully cosy cafe with a great vibe, staff are incredibly friendly & helpful. Lilly the manager, Matt (one of the chefs) and the owner Rupert (who runs a cookery school) are very passionate about their food & service. We have had breakfast, lunch & now dinner here and we have never been disappointed - it really is a great spot to chill out, meet friends, and enjoy great food & drink. They also do coffee & cake if you are looking for a light bite. Highly recommend it to anyone! Ps Dog friendly too Indoor & Outdoor seating available depending on weather.
