Fabulous food & service with a great Khruangbin soundtrack. (The chilled funk tunes complemented the food & drink perfectly ... & that is a very rare thing in other eateries!)But please ignore me ... I want to be able to get a seat again soon! Feel very lucky to have this local to me; so we can walk there & have something off the short but brilliant wine list too.

Friendly staff and a great selection of food. Now has nice tables and light pleasant interior. Plus they do breakfast baps with sausage egg and bacon til 11am. Tea and coffee, cold drinks etc all day. Excellent variety of pasties and slices.

Fish was lovely, curry sauce was nice but not very warm. Not keen on the chips, were of dry consistency like oven chips, I personally prefer a slight greasey chip. But all was extremely clean and well presented.

I’ve had a few pizzas here and I’ve never had an issue, I did have an issue with one I purchased from Redruth, this team sorted me right out with no issues. I got a ‘rushed’ pizza that seemed much smaller than the typical large (13.5inch) and these guys offered me a refund or a new pizza, of course I went for the new pizza. Excellent work guys thank you for giving me the time of day!

There isn't a bad thing about this pub, not one single thing, the food was amazing, all homemade, you can really tell the chef cares about the food, and the lady that was running the bar was fantastic, so attentive and really welcoming. Such a warm and friendly atmosphere this is not an experience you can afford to miss. Would highly recommend the beef and ale pie and the mousakka, huge portions at a great price. Will definitely be returning.

Really lovely food, A Burger with bacon cheese, onion rings and fries about £16.00 per head. Portions are ample and there is a good selection of burgers. Also other items if you're not a burger fan. Staff were friendly and the service was swift. The surroundings were a little tired but clean. Tip check menu on line for choices but well worth a visit if in the area

We had a lovely Full Cornish Breakfast with side of halloumi ,BLT Ciabatta and garlic bread. Very good portions , delicious food. Quick and kind service. We took brownie and millionaire cake takeaway and it was amazing too. They are dog friendly. Highly recommended! ?

What a fantastic find!We visited here for a birthday meal and were lucky enough to sit in one of the huts. The food was by far some of the most delicious food we’ve had, we ordered steak, that was cooked to perfection, chips and Greek salad sides, which were amazing! Our children had sausage, chips and peas which they really enjoyed.You can tell that the ingredients used are top quality. Friendly pub good value. Looking for a pub meal we found the Duke where the food wasn't overpriced the beer was excellent and the landlord friendly and helpful. One of us is gluten intolerant but almost everything was available GF.

The Jam Pot Cafe

Visited a very windy Gwithian beach with our poorly dog as part of a bucket list for her. Saw sign that Jam Pot was open and they accepted dogs. Had lovely coffee, and pumpkin & red pepper soup. Hubby had coffee, and a sausage sandwich. Very reasonably priced and had a fantastic view towards the beach, whilst being kept nice and toasty with the gas fired wood effect woodburner in the little building we were in.
