Visiting Hayle to see friends and stopped in the Angarrack for a Sunday roast.
They were really busy but the service was really friendly and food was lovely.
The prices were good, especially considering how nice the food was.
They also had a pub quiz which was fun and done in a really friendly environment.

Visited for lunch and we were not dissapointed. Short 5 minute wait for a table, but it was busy so no issue with waiting. Staff were fantastic and very helpfull with a couple of queries about some of the food. The food was fantastic and freshly cooked. Overall we had a lovely visit to Birdies and would highly recomend to anyone thinking of visiting.

Visit today 19 March. Very welcoming, do friendly bar. Had some lovely food, good music very atmospheric. Can definitely recommend. Will be going back in the near future.

OMG AWESOME FIND...
Well worth the walk from 3Mile Beach.
Garlic mushrooms were superb, add chips if your proper hungry.
The scampi sarnie is a delight on sourdough bread.
Great coffee & lovely local beer..
Staff, Toni & India were great & on point,
Top marks to chef Dom for what he produces in the back office...
Cheers for an awesome afternoon of food, drink & company...

We've just enjoyed fish and chips from here and it was superb. The cod had a beautiful flavour and texture with a tasty batter and the chips were perfect with a slight crunch on the outside and soft inside. The portion size was ideal and represented good value for money.

There were 3 ladies serving and all were very friendly, chatty and helpful. Great customer service! We'll be visiting again next time we're in Cornwall.

Had a lovely steak dinner here tonight, finished with a Creme Brulee.
Staff were lovely.
They can provide gifts cards for the restuarant in venue, there is a local discount too.
Toilets were clean and tidy, hand dryer very old, no papertowels.
Overall, fabulous experience will definately go back!

This is my second time returning to this place after finding it by accident when looking for another business in the industrial park.

Full English: very good quality, extremely tasty. Mushrooms were nicely fried and not soggy, this is the classic giveaway whether the chef knows what they're doing or not. Moreover, it seemed the chef enjoyed cooking which can be seen in the quality of the food.

Breakfast burger: my partner demolished it while trying to tell me between bites it's the best one he's ever had. I managed to snag a piece of the fried mushroom and it was delicious.

Milkshake: he got the banana one, it is indeed a very good milkshake. It does not taste artificial and it is not overly sweet.

Bacon pancakes: pancakes are not usually my thing especially not with bacon on top, but judging on how clean the plate was when my partner was done with it, I'd say they were a hit.

Service: there were 5 available cubicles and we asked if possible to be sat at one of them for the full diner experience. The waiter blatantly refused and sat us at a middle table even though there was more than enough space in case one or two or three big crowds came in at the same time. Moreover, there were other cubicles shared by only two people so I can't understand this refusal.

There are no napkins at the table, you're brought two with the cutlery and that's it. If you spill a little milkshake while you're fighting over it, you're faced with using one of the two to clean up your mess or go across the diner to ask for another. I can't imagine it would be costly to have a cheap napkin box at the end of the table. Also, there are no sauces available in bottles, you have to ask for them. I wanted just the tiniest bit of ketchup, which I would've dosed myself from the bottle if available. Instead, I received a hefty amount when I requested it and wasted most of it, which seems counterintuitive if you're thinking about reducing waste and providing a true American diner experience.

All in all, I would be certainly returning to try the waffle with fried chicken on top(I saw it brought to a nearby table while waiting and it looked banging) and bringing extra napkins with me.

Great welcome, fantastic service and excellent food. Our bacon and egg roll was cooked to perfection.
The dairy free cake was super light and delicious.
This place is a little gem, we will be back.

My absolute favourite beach cafe in Cornwall. And I’ve done a few. Welcome is always top notch. The cafe is light. Amazing sea views. Glorious outside seating area. Had fish cake and salad which was superb. Cappuccino was hot. Wine cold. Cannot fault. Make sure you visit when this way.

We stopped for a quick pint and found this pub to be a fantastic base for exploring the town. While food wasn't being served during our visit, the hospitality was top-notch.
The staff were happy to let us park overnight in our motorhome; we just had to leave a few details behind the bar. It felt very safe and secure as the car park is locked overnight once the pub closes. Highly recommended for fellow travellers looking for a friendly, secure stopover in Cornwall!

Just returned home from a wonderful 9 nights stay at this wonderful B@B.
We stayed in the foundery with the twin beds option. Absolutely cant fault it, beds were great and the on suite outstanding with the most amazing shower.
Ann and Scott were the perfect hosts and nothing was any trouble always on hand. Ann is an exceptional host and wont hesitate to recommend this little gem of a find in Hayle.
