I’ve been eating pasties for 30 years and they’re still the best pasties and cakes in Cornwall.

Great food. Lovely helpful staff. Regularly busy. Very often out of stock later in the day. Small and busy car park. Lots of great food options and merchandise. Convenient and interesting location.

Service second to none.I was speaking to a fellow trucker who said, "You have to get a steak pasties from Philps," as I said I was delivering to Hayle Town.I parked round the corner on a 30-minute break and popped my head in.The smell was great, and food item was looking to incisive not to buy.I settled on A steak pasties as I was told to do and spotted a Saffron Teatreat (it was 1/2 price)Oh, they tasted great as the pasties were still warm, and the "cake" was breakfast the next morning. Thanks to all the staff at Philps, keep up the hard work making, baking, and creating all the tastyI'll be back when I'm in the area.Parking: Parking available just off busy main road.

Perfect Pasties are the order of the day here ans were the best we enjoyed on our holiday. The traditional Cornish was very good but the star was the steak and cheese. Well priced for the size and the taste. Also try the Saffron buns to takeaway.

Fast service despite the queue, great selection the cream tea in a box (2 fruit scones, 2 plain, Roddas clotted cream and pot of jam) for £6.50 was the best thing I've had in a long time!!Friends/family loved the pasties we took home with us!

Tried the vegan pasty, grey mush andmiles too much salt !! Please rethink and don’t just add extra salt in the absence of meat, some imagination and herbs needed

Absolutely stunning pasties - we had cheese, steak & cheese & gluten free.Such a wonderful range including traditional pasty.Lovely staff.Just be patient as there's usually a queue - but worth the wait!!

Great pasties, straight from the oven, cakes look amazing. Arrive early for best selection. I can imagine they sell out quickly in the summer.

Used to make a 40 mile round trip to hayle especially for these pasties. We were so disappointed! They were so undercooked, the pastry was pale and stodgy, rather than crispy and flakey. The insides were black like they had been frozen and reheated!Other family members were also very underwhelmed recently.Guys what has happened?

What on earth have you done ? Minced beef Pasties should surely be mixed with everything? Sadly huge clumps of minced beef rather than equally spread within the Pastie is definitely not how I remember them. Additionally kindly inform the short fat middle aged woman with glasses to stop shouting orders whilst staff are trying to serve customers it's ignorant and irritating. Sadly I won't be returning.

Had couple of original steak pasties thought they were overrated with a bit of an after taste about them. Nothing to write home about really

Grab a pasty and take it over to the seashore - a wonderful lunch with a great view!! We shared a large steak pasty and a couple of drinks, the perfect lunch.

We stopped at the Praaze - an - Beeble shop for take away pasties. Looked delicious, staff friendly and helpful, but sadly when we got home to eat them both ( 2 different types ) pasties were so salty we couldnt finish them. Such a shame as they looked delicious. Will not buy from Philps again.
