So disappointed on our visit there today. So many people had recommended it to us. The burgers were below average & had a horrible texture. The girl serving us was lovely, but I couldn't see her when we went to pay. When I did pay, I wasn't even asked if everything was ok? So didn't bother telling them. The milkshakes were the best part of the whole meal. Maybe it was just a bad day there in their kitchen, but I definitely won't be returning! £60 down the pan ?

Me and my husband have recently came back from America and tried alsorts of food whilst being there,so trying bookoos for the first time was just has good has the burgers u get in America. Would recommend to anybody who loves burgers and milkshakes. The staff are very friendly and efficient. Would deffo be coming back next time we’re in Cornwall.

I can honestly say this was the BEST burger I’ve ever had. So good we went again the next night. Great food, great service. Great staff. They obviously work very well together as a team. First night they were rammed, ( Light festival) so we went in the pub opposite The Bell ( great pint Doombar) the barmaid heard our conversation & pointed out to us we could order on the Boo Coos app & eat in the pub, what an amazing arrangement within around 10 mins we were munching on the best burger ever. Obviously home made with quality beefsteak. The Chilli Cheesy Chips spot on. Same waitress served us both nights, both in the pub & in the restaurant the following night. Great atmosphere both in the pub and in the restaurant I wish I had got the girls name, so polite & efficient All the staff were good, But they didn’t have a tip facility like some restaurants, we’ll definitely be back next time we visit our son at Culdrose. Well done Guys you did great. I’m a retired landlord & restaurateur so I know a little about how hard the business can be. GET a tip jar ?? see you soon

My partner and I went to Boo Koos recently and we were not disappointed. The Staff were friendly and efficient and we had some excellent Chicken Wings and excellent Burgers.The food was delicious but a bit messy.It would be nice at the end of the meal if they could provide some wet wipes to clean your hands. Thank you. We will be back.

We have been to Bookoos in Helston before, travelling to there from near Penzance as we love the food, the quirky decor and the staff have always been attentive and friendly. Sadly tonight of all nights, my son's 21st birthday, we had a bad experience. The young lady that served us, helpful at first, then became annoying with constantly referring to my husband and I are darling at the end of every sentence. Then took our order without writing it down, then of course got it completely wrong, so the food that was served got cold whilst the food that was wrong was sent back. Granted they took our drinks off the bill, all three of them, but sadly it didn't save a very disappointing experience for what should have been a very special occasion It will be a long while before we visit again.

Visited over a lunchtime for our annual one day off the kids ! Decor fantastic and staff attentive , but the food which I had been told was amazing failed on all acounts. So this review is only for that reason not the service or venue. The burger arrived in a bun not substantial enough to keep the structure if the burger and was soggy on bottom of the bun , for somewhere who swears by their burgers and burgers being its main speciality … this was not the case The patty itself even tho the bun was soggy was very very dry like it had been precooked and then flash fried when ordered , it was dry as an old boot and was rubbery as one too , when your paying £14 for a burger u expect quality and this did not hit the mark , it was so chewy and full of gristle ! Not to mention it was so under seasoned it was tasteless , no beef flavour at all ! Basically a very compacted dry slab of mince of poor quality I’m sorry to say . Won’t be back witch’s a Shame but it’s not the staffs fault they were great , the vibe was great the food was below par on a Wetherspoons scale in my opinion . Try for yourselves but it wasnt for me

If you like American style food or themed places, this is the place to go. A selection of burgers, grilled cheese sandwiches, chicken. Vegan and vegetarian menus to.Big selection of milkshake flavours.I would recommend booking a table as it's not overally a big place but can get busy. When we came it was quite so managed to get a table but a lot was reserved. Even though it was quiet, the staff could have gone around and swept the floor and emptied the bin, which was full by the door.Burgers are tasty, and you can pick what size you would like. Fries come separate, but they are delicious. We had a basket of fries, which did the four of us nicely.The only thing I would say is that the staff came around looking for dirty dishes to collect when some of us hadn't finished eating.Im in the catering industry and got taught to clear when everyone has finished.I would recommend this place as food is nice.Vegetarian options: Good selection of burgers

I called this place at 3pm to book a table as it said to , the woman on the phone was very inviting, once arrived the staff could not do enough for you, the food is pricy but the food was good , the service was also very good , the freak shakes and the hot chocolate’s are something else . If your feeling a quality burger then this is no 1

Me and my husband popped in on Sunday lunchtime, we had burgers, chips and milkshakes. It was delicious, as always. Never get a bad meal there. On Sunday though the chips were particularly nice, I don’t know why! Really crispy and well seasoned. Lovely Kinder Bueno milkshake too, left feeling very fat & full ??

We got sat in a squashed seat, waitress rushed us to order, burger was soggy, ordered chips which were cold and when commented on, the waitress was rude and rolled her eyes. The service was terrible and we were denied a refund for the cold chips even though untouched. Left some sweets with the billy which my friend found a shard of glass in. Truely awful and would not recommend.

So I’ve been working in helston on and off over the past year and kept telling myself I’ve got to go to Bookoos for lunch and today was the day! So I’m here to tell you all it was really very good, I had a Red, white and Blue burger with boo fries and a Dr Pepper it was such a treat well done Bookoos you nailed it.

This is an American BBQ Western themed restaurant. Great vibe, you need to book as it's quite small. I've done the Boos Koos in Falmouth and these are decidedly different in that this place has a very limited menu. It's basically burgers... No steaks, no salads and so it's really limiting.The burgers were good, but the sauces in them had the buns breaking up. Beware of the hot food... The chili rating is very real. The food was good but not great. The milkshakes were expensive but also very, very good.I would give the food 3.5 stars and not 4, but there is no half star option unfortunately.
