“Beautiful little Cornish village. We went specifically for the fish shop as my wife loves seafood. Well worth the walk down from the car park. We bought a whole sea bass for the wife (I will have my steak), king prawns, hake fillet + loin, and good size cooked crab (£7). Cheaper than the north east coast where we live. Be aware it's not a dressed crab but one you open and pull the meat out yourself. May go again before we leave at the weekend”

“A perfect spot for some delicious food, with the added bonus of a wonderful view of the twinkling lights in the harbour when the sun went down. A short break in Porthleven with my bestie and we enjoyed it so much the first night, we booked for the next three nights as well! In particular, the bouillabaisse was absolutely first class, with perfectly cooked fish and prawns. Excellent risotto, fabulous mussels, scrumptious lemon posset with home made shortbread and refreshing sorbets. Something for every taste and the pizzas looked amazing too! Without exception, all the staff were friendly and service was unobtrusive but attentive. Jack was clearly an excellent manager and nothing was too much trouble. A thoroughly enjoyable, relaxing experience. Thank you Amelie - we loved it!”
