Staff are polite and friendly. Partner & grandaughter had an all day breakfast . Food was a little cold. Table had not been cleaned . Consequently sticky and the menues were very sticky too. Glasses were dirty. Hence 3 stars only. Usually good. Such a shame.

Ordered sirloin steak for my wife, her preference is extremely well done with no pink, stressed this when ordering. I ordered 10oz gammon and eggs for me. Meal arrived, mine two skinny pieces of gammon with two overcooked eggs, my wifes steak cooked medium, pink in the middle. Told bar staff (extremely pleasant young lady) she called for a fresh steak. By the time it arrived I had finished my meal, second steak tough as old boots and looked too grainy to be sirloin. Left it and walked out, apart from service an awful experience.

Went in Friday night extremely busy because of light festival in Helston. Was like a war zone rushed of there feet. Stayed for a couple beers Went back next morning for breakfast Bang on 8.00 am door opened greeted with a cheery hello & a smile. To my surprise the place was gleaming, total transformation how the cleaners had done that in a few short hours was amazing. People often overlook the unsung heroes in many business’s WELL DONE you guys great job BTW the breakfast was great. Eggs Benedict x 2 with sausage & hash browns all cooked perfectly

Cool place loads of cool decorations very clean place is huge, inside and out side seating the roof top is well cool staff were friendly and helpful food was lovley well cooked games cupboard to boot would go again when in the area and would recommend giving it a go if your there good place to go if your on your own or have the family

Quietest spoons I’ve ever been too - priciest too, in sure some of the burgers are two quid more than Devon.There was one chap who was very professional and quick and diligent. Food was bland. More than usual lol.Quirky little pub though. The coin tables are cool, watch you don’t break your ankle outside in the gutter after a few pints mind.

Now I know not to expect the best of service in a pub like this, however the aura of misery from the bar staff made me want to drink up and leave. Unhappy, grumpy & disinterested in delivering any joy. So much for hospitality. I can see why the prices have to be so cheap.

Very good 'Spoons' that is surprisingly bigger than you expect when you see the front ! Plenty of areas to sit including a fairly big area at the bottom of the stairs, a small outdoor ground garden & a rooftop terrace too ! Friendly bar staff, the lady with the blonde hair was very polite. Beers were OK, usual Wetherspoons food standard, my burger wasn't bad but it wasn't fantastic either !Overall though one of the better Wetherspoons I've visited.

The food and service was very good but the area we were seated at obviously had not been cleaned after lunchtime. The table had been wiped but the floor was dirty and there was even a chip wedged in one of the chairs. Come on Wether spoons, you can do better than this.

Ordered x2 Chicken breast nugget meals and x2 Pepsi’s. We did receive our food pretty quickly but there was no sign of our drinks. Had to go to the bar to ask what was going on with our drinks and they did sort it out for us, however, there was no apology for the confusion
I’m going to assume the lady working front of house today doesn’t like her job! She was exceptionally rude, and not just to us either! She also very loudly complained to her work mate she she was sick of being treated like a dogsbody!! When we ordered our food we ordered pancakes for our fussy kid, she came out 10mins later to tell us there were no pancakes… which is fine, but the huffing and head shaking when she walked away were uncalled for! Miserable is an understatement! If you don’t like your job, don’t do it. Don’t make customers feel like they’re making your working career worse!!!

Went here today for lunch with freinds orderd food thru the app dinks took just over 20 mins to come out and then waited a further 25 minutes for our food. Finally got our food and i think they must of thought we were all children with the portion sizes on the plate. Food was cold and daughters pasta was quite hard. Chips were cold amd so was my sons pizza i shall definatly gonna be going bk there anytime soon
