A quiet location, food and was excellent, my wife and I popped in for cake and coffee we ended up having lunch after seeing the menu, highly recommended, (shouldn't say that as it may become over run). Will definitely go again.

We absolutely love the Cowslip Café. We have been there frequently for quite sometime and have always found the staff excellent, friendly and very helpful. The food is great and a good selection of cakes. We would recommend this beautiful country café to all.

I Love this cafe, I have come here a few times over the last 6 months to eat. We last came here Sunday for Roast. This is the first time my friends have eaten here. They were very impressed with the decoration, the cosiness, the food and the service. All homemade and nice portions. This is my go-to Cafe for food.

Food on the plate needs to be more. A little disappointed about value for money.

4 of us met for a birthday lunch, we all ordered different things from the lunch menu and all thoroughly enjoyed it. A great place to meet, take in the beautiful view and have a potter around the few shops. We will be back.

The venue is lovely - can't complain about that. Food was average, a tuna baguette that I could have made for half the price at home and a jacket potato with a skin that was so tough it was inedible. Both with wilted rocket leaves and no other accompaniments. (At roughly 8/9 quid, some coleslaw wouldn't go amiss) The staff (apart from one very polite, younger girl) looked as though they'd rather be anywhere else in the world than serving us. Used to rate it here and hadn't been for a while, but won't be back unless it improves.

Took friends out for a birthday lunch, it used to be a charming place but has seriously lost its way in recent months. The salad bar was boring and sad, the bread stale and the coffee lukewarm. This pretty much describes the service too. I'll choose to take my custom where it's welcome, I won't be back.

On our way to Falmouth, from Derbyshire. A little bit of research discovered the hidden gem, that is Cowslip.A very warm welcome, delicious food, chocolate cake that melts in your mouth and the best pot of tea we’ve had for ages!Dogs welcome, on the lead, both inside and out…in the beautiful garden. Clean water provided for them almost immediately.Thank you!

A wonderful experience. Everything about it wonderful. Beware of sat navs that like to send you off down single track roads; easy to find from Launceston itself. And clearly signposted. Will be going again!!

Food not warmed all the way through so broccoli in the centre of the quiche cold and wet. Sparse salad. Person in charge at the time rude and patronising. No apology. Expensive. Won’t be back.

Good job we booked a table, as there wasn't a free table in the place! Lovely visit, friendly staff, yummy cake and delicious hot chocolate! Recommend booking before you visit.

Totally gorgeous little spot! The staff were wonderful and totally accommodating with my 3 year old. Really good value for money and choice of food! Very happy to have found this hard to find cafe!
