We were staying in Liskeard and using my Brother's house while they were on Holiday. As such we decided to treat ourselves to Breakfast as we often do so when we are at home. It was our first visit to the Café. It was slightly disconcerting that we had to pay to park - and mildly irritating too! The Café was not busy when we arrived but filled up quickly and a few callers took food away. It is Family Run and we were greeted warmly by the Ladies who took our order. We opted for a very large, but hugely enjoyable, cooked breakfast each. We accompanied our food with tea and did not have to wait long for our food even though everything is cooked to order. While we eat almost everything we have our preferences particularly at Breakfast. The Café was completely accommodating in meeting our selections and so we were able to get the Hog's Pudding that we both enjoy and elect not to have beans! There are multiple options to enable any combination of items for your breakfast and it was all good quality and nicely presented. Readers may wonder why I have not made my Review Excellent. It is solely because, in totality, I felt it would be wrong to grade it as such when it was a Market Café and not Fine Dining. We eat at many restaurants and Cafés throughout the world and I award very few 5 star reviews. That is not in any way to mark down this establishment! In terms of welcome, quality of food, as well as choice and price, this Café is well at the top end. We recommend it highly and congratulate the Team for their efforts; we will return making sure we are hungry enough to fully appreciate our breakfasts!

I lovely breakfast, Friendly and helpful staff hot plates with hot food 10 out of 10, even when a large order was for food was being processed. We kept you informed of how long they expect to serve you but still very quick. So congratulations to the wonderful team.

The best breakfast you'll get for the money. Here on holiday and we normally shop around to trial different cafes and breakfasts. Not this time. We're confident we wouldn't find better than this so keep coming back.The market breakfast is amazing value for money. 3 bacon, 3 sausages, 2 hash browns, 2 fried eggs, mushrooms, toast, beans and 'tinned' tomatoes, not the usual half sliced grilled tomato rubbish.Always cooked to perfection, served on hot plates. All for £8!!! Good luck finding better!Dog friendly, always made to feel welcome. Nothing too much trouble. Often a full house with many returning locals.Toilets to rear, just ask first.Thank you for the lovely food, it makes a big part of our break. ?
