Pubs in Liskeard

“Nice atmosphere and good service. Food was a little on the basic side. We chose ham egg and chips and a very nice chicken pie. Prices reflected the comfort food menu. Still I was very happy to find they had Rattler on tap!”

“Heard some good reports so booked a table for the carvery as a small family gathering. Arrived and it was very quiet with Carl laying up the carvery. Once other family members arrived and Carl was ready we were called up. Great spread with a starting choice of pork or beef. Also a wide selection of different veg to go with the meat choice. Best was proper roast spuds and crackling (with the pork) which is always a good sign. Food was really good !. Staff were attentive to check a couple times for more drinks and desserts so were spot on. Everyone enjoyed the meal and were well (impressed and) stuffed come the end. All agreed on a return visit with an increase of family members for later in the month. Well done Carl and the team.”

“5 stars mainly because I had a proper laugh here! Went around 2230 got the cheapest pints I've ever known, played pool and lost twice, 50p for pool! Nice little garden but couldn't see much as it was dark, and chuffed it was open even with no customers at half 10.”

“Fed up with overpriced so called fancy restaurants, we went to this pub, we love a Wetherspoons but had decided to eat at independent restaurants, this one was lovely the food was served promptly and was as good as any fancy restaurant in fact better, the drinks are always served beautifully too, big shout out to Ian who was so polite and efficient and worked so hard to clear the tables quickly, so to all the spoons snobs this one was first class.”
