We went for a delicious meal at Fifty in earlier this month. Each course was perfect. We enjoyed scallops to start followed by a variety of mains and the ‘famous cheesecake’ to end the meal! The team at Fifty were really friendly and you can tell they love what they do. Ambiance was spot on, food delicious and the service with a smile - you don’t always get all three at once, but you do at Fifty! We look forward to returning next time we are on holiday in the area!

As expected from a keen family restaurant, friendly service and good standard food, well presented. Good range of drinks/wine. Fish pie excellent but would have welcomed veg vs bread provided (slightly odd). Rather over-active email reminder system! We would certainly visit again. Thank you.

We stopped in here for lunch in January. Small place with a big heart, staff were really lovely and we had a delicious lunch at a fair price. Would happily come back.

Had a lovely meal from the winter warmers menu. All plates were beautiful, fish pie a particular hit. Friendly and attentive service, and good value for quality fresh cooked food. Will definitely be back and well deserves the excellent ratings. Thanks to all!

Lovely friendly little restaurant with amazing food and brilliant staff who couldn't do enough for you. I note that there was a less than happy previous review from people that hadn't even tried the restaurant, the review was based on the fact that their booking time had to be changed! Well, you missed out mate!!! We changed our time too and the owners were so apologetic and grateful. Really glad we went. We will be back.

Everyone makes mistakes and it’s the way you rectify it that counts……Fifty’s booking system allowed a double booking for tonight. Fifty rang us to explain, offering us an earlier sitting time with a meal discount or an alternative date with a meal discount. We went for the earlier sitting as did everyone else who had booked for later. It is really rotten that Steven who left the one star review below couldn’t acknowledge how very hard Fifty tried to rectify the double booking problem. His review didn’t mention the options given to all diners. This is a family run restaurant trying to provide a service throughout the quiet winter months for local people and the small number of visitors that come to Looe at this time of year. We all had a brilliant evening with fabulous food and warm friendly service. Five stars!
We were in Cornwall for two nights and found Fifty here on Trip Adviser. It sounded appealing so we booked supper. The welcome, the service the food (not just good but generous portions), and the price were all excellent. Next time we’re in Cornwall we shall certainly eat here again.

What a fantastic place , great from start to finish . Family run business , superb hospitality, atmosphere brilliant . Food amazing you will go home very contented indeed . Menu changes so you will never get tired of eating here , we will see you all again soon . Thank you xx

decent food. portions tiny bit on the small side. Butter would have been nice on boiled potatoes as too dry. and again. thin sliced unbuttered bread served with fish pie ? Fish pie very nice but could have been a little bigger and better value. Quiche lovely but not very big. Beef stew was winner. Chicken, tasted great but would have been better using deboned chicken. Lovely welcoming staff and relaxed atmosphere. Couple of tiny little adjustments would have made this place smashing.. but it was decent overall.

Just excellent! Cosy and charming restaurant with friendly and professional service from Mark (thank you). Food (rack of lamb and pork belly) was amazing and it was lovely to meet the chef who came to check everything was in order. Dessert was beautifully presented and tasted great. Coffee (decaf espresso) and mints to finish. Do not pass up a chance to eat here. We are looking forward to another visit when we’re in town.
