7 Buller St, West Looe, LooeYou walk through the door and are welcomed by the wonderful aroma of the food before being greeted by the very friendly staff. This was honestly the best Indian food we have ever eaten. We opted to order online and collect which was a very easy process. We loved it so much we had a second Indian before we went home. Absolutely would recommend.

Great to see that Richard has maintained his impeccable standards of cuisine and hospitality over the years that we have been going there. The quality of the steak and all accompanying dishes was top notch. The quantity of food for the set menu was amazing. Wine prices are very reasonable and do not be afraid to go for the house red. Excellent quality overall and we really think that you get more than you pay for. Only wish we lived nearer so we could go more often!

Fore St, West Looe, LooeAfter a week of pasties and fish and chips, we were happy to stumble on this place and have some fresh and amazing salads. The food was so good, I wish we had discovered it earlier. Beautiful cakes too and a nice friendly, earthy atmosphere. Recommend!

The welcome that we received from Mel and Mohammed was above and beyond - I cannot rate the experience and quality of both food and atmosphere highly enough - huge love and respect to Mel and 'the boys' - we'll be back xxxx

Higher Market St, The Quay, LooeIt was my first time to Fifty and I will absolutely be coming again! I booked in advance but it was really quiet (it was a term-time Monday!) so we had a choice of tables and earlier than the booking. I have coeliac disease and I'd found Fifty on TripAdvisor's suggestions for gluten free friendly restaurants in Looe. Well it didn't disappoint. The owner has dietary requirements themselves so totally understands how to keep food safe for people like me. We chose from the lunch menu but we could have chosen from the evening menu if we'd wanted to. They have fresh, local fish, and local, seasonal produce, and at a reasonable price. I had a crab sandwich on gluten free bread followed by the Chef's chocolate special dessert which was absolutely heavenly! Loved everything about it. I'd definitely go back!

Great Tree Farm, St Martins, LooeAbsolutely beautiful food here. Freshest of fresh fish. I had scallops as a starter they were perfectly cooked. The chips were perfect and they had rattler on draught what more could you want. Plenty of parking too and takeaway option too.

The Fish Market
The Quay, LooeWe were a party of 7 and every one of us was blown away by the standard of food. We ordered every fish dish on the menu and some steak dishes. It was a great memorable experience. Every dish had its own twist on preparation methods, flavours and presentation. We very much look forward to be back for more. Thank you!

Marine Dr, LooeLovely ocean view setting, we sat outside due to us having our dog with us, but did nt mind in the slightest as the weather was lovely and we saw Looe Carnival at it s best .Dinner and a show ! The menu offered plenty of choice and I ordered the fresh crab linguine which did not disappoint .This was a lovely start to our holiday and we will return again .

Barbican Inn
Barbican Rd, LooeLovely local pub, great atmosphere, the staff are always welcoming and friendly. As a local group of friends, we occasionally spend the evening in there, we have always had a good night. The price of drinks are very reasonable for Looe. The owners really have made this pub into a community hub. I highly recommend it.

2 River View, West Looe, LooeThe most delicious and aesthetically pleasing cakes! We stopped by here whilst on holiday last week. The weather had been drizzly and the smell of warm cake was like a comforting blanket! We bought three slices of cake, a chocolate cornflake bar and one cake pot! The price was reasonable at just over £20, we were expecting it to be a lot more. The slice of cake was ginormous and it took more than one sitting to eat it all! Definitely recommend and will be purchasing online if possible!

The Fishermans Arms
Higher Market St, The Quay, LooeHad such a brilliant time at The Fisherman’s Arms in Looe this past Saturday! We went as a group of three and from the moment we walked in, we were made to feel incredibly welcome by both the staff and the locals. It is one of those places that instantly has a warm, friendly atmosphere where you feel comfortable straight away.
The pub itself has loads of character, and it really captures that classic Cornish charm. What made the evening even better was the live music... it was fantastic! The performer created such a lively vibe, and it was great to see everyone in the pub getting into it, singing along and enjoying themselves. It really brought the whole place to life.
The staff were attentive, friendly and clearly take pride in making sure everyone has a good time. Even though it was busy, they handled everything smoothly and always had a smile on their faces. The locals were just as welcoming, which added to the whole experience.... it felt like being part of the community for the night.
If you are in Looe and looking for a proper pub with great music, a lively atmosphere and genuinely friendly people, I would highly recommend The Fisherman’s Arms. We willl definitely be back next time we’re in town!

Talland Bay, Bridals Ln, LooeSmall cafe right next to the beach. Limited space inside, but plenty of seating outside - picnic benches and some table/benches in beach huts. View out to sea. Cafe menu includes Cornish pasties and some excellent ice cream. Also sells beach items - bucket/spade, seats, shoes (handy for clambering on the rocks). The toilet block has been closed for some time, but there are portaloos at the end of the car park.

Hannafore Rd, LooeWe visited on a Sunday, and were one of only a few tables. The staff were friendly and welcoming however, we found the options available for food quite limited for vegetarians/ pescatarians. Luckily, they had a beautiful salmon dish, with tenderstem & roasted new potatoes on offer which we snapped up! The salmon was cooked to perfection, with a crisp skin salted with large flakes, the potatoes tasted fresh and went so well with the hollandaise. Really enjoyed our meal!

64 Fore St, Polperro, LooeAs we usually visit Polperro in November or December, most places are closed for the winter so we’ve not had the opportunity to eat here. It was open this evening so we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed at all. The food we had was freshly cooked and very tasty. I had chicken fajitas which were amazing, my husband had cod and chips which were delicious too. One of the few places which serve REAL chips not frozen ones. Dog friendly too which is a bonus as we took our golden retriever ?

Truly Scrumptious of Looe
Higher Market St, The Quay, Looe... but my wife & I were craving a cooling after-lunch treat on a warm June day. So we each ordered a single scoop of Cornish farm-made Roskilly's ice cream in small sugar cones, Salt Caramel for my wife and White Chocolate & Raspberry for me. They each had good flavour, though I'd rate the creaminess as average for premium ice cream. But considering the prompt & friendly counter service and the attractiveness of the small store, our visit to Truly Scrumptious earned a 4 Circle rating and two thumbs up recommending a refreshment stop for other visitors to East Looe.

The Quay, LooeWe ate at Yamas for the first time last night and had a fantastic meal. We weren’t sure what to expect having not eaten Greek food before and discovered how nice it was! Not many other places open.Very pleasant interior & friendly young girl greeted us.Nice to have table service as well. Small menu but a good selection. Husband and I had toasted tuna and cheese toasties Very tasty and filling. Hot chocolate with cream and mallows went down well too. Dolphin House
Station Rd, LooeA very late review, amazing place to stay it was our anniversary. The owners were very pleasant, breakfast was great. Crab fishing was very competitive between myself and my wife. I would highly recommend the dolphin house if you like the the finer things in life.

The Plantation Tea Rooms
The Plantation, The Coombes, Polperro, LooeEnjoyed a lovely cream tea here. Staff very friendly and attentive. Reasonable priced. Great menu choices. Only downside is the steep steps to the very small toilet which was difficult for one member of our party. Would definitely recommend a visit when in Polperro.

The avocado, chilli jam and bacon dish was especially tasty! We all left here happy and full indeed. Its been a long while ive had a satisfying meal out all round. Lovely staff, food and environment ? prices aren't insane either.
