Sarah’s cake shop is always a must visit when we are in Looe, we make sure we go every day to get our sweet treat fix! Cakes are always deliciously baked and the portion sizes are very generous. I love Sarah’s cakes that much we are making a special trip from the midlands this year to get my birthday cake made. Angie and Rachel are also super friendly and welcoming.

Extremely disappointed, I travelled one hour after being recommended this place to buy a cake for my birthday. checked the times on Google and arrived 15:49, more than one hour before closing time just to find a CLOSED place. A little note says to go "across the road" but the place was also closed. I'm fuming, had to buy cake bites from the bakery ! Very disrespectful!

Can’t recommend Sarah’s cake shop highly enough. We discovered this gem on holiday in the summer where the brownies and Viennese whirls went down a storm. We returned to Padstow via Looe in September where my husband had organised the most delicious chocolate cake beautifully decorated for my birthday. This weekend Ange went above and beyond to arrange for a box of brownies to be delivered in time for my sons birthday as in his words “these are the best brownies ever” and he would know!! If you’re ever in Looe seek them out you won’t be disappointed and if you can’t get there order a box! Think this is going to be the new birthday tradition in our house ?

This was a great find in Looe after walking the dog. Really wide, interesting cake selection, lots of great cakes. I took my malteser brownie millionaires cake home, as it was super hot today and I wanted to chill it in the fridge…so slightly squished in the photo but thank god I don’t live nearby, I’d be there all the time!

Sarah’s cake shop is THE only place in Looe area if you want that special cake! Their cakes taste and look amazing and their customer service is exceptional.I’ve had lots of cakes from them over the last year-large 80th birthday cake, Boxes of cup cakes for my teenagers birthday and most recently a horse themed novelty cake. Honestly, I can’t recommend them enough!

Visited during a week day as was drawn in by the fantastic selection of cakes in the window. Ordered two kinder brownies and they were absolutely scrumptious. Can’t wait to to return, or maybe order a box for delivery one day!

We had to try a traditional cornish meat pasty and a lamb / mint one just to compare. The traditional one was taste sensation, the meat and the peppery vegetables added to the taste experience . The lamb / mint pasty was another level , a little hint would be to have a little jugglette of gravy to complete the taste sensation
