Best scones I have ever had, and I have eaten many. Cream tea was lovely. Would highly recommend , if in the area you will not be disappointed . Pleasant staff and reasonable prices. So no excuse, drop in for a little treat .

This place is just perfect. The food is absolutely first class, the atmosphere is lovely, the staff are so welcoming and make you feel at home. Well priced too.I travel a lot playing gigs, this is my favourite by far!

Lovely service. We are now fans of chai latte! The lady in the tea rooms was so accommodating with choice. Amazing yummy latte, so good, we had 2 each. Best I have ever had. Miss you Polperro, you have very lovely people

Called in today ( 26th October) whilst in Polperro for the last day of our holiday. Decided to have some lunch and wow, it was absolutely amazing! Little one had a milkshake and a half jacket potato with tuna from the kids menu and she ate all of it! Even said it was the best jacket potato she's ever had. Partner and I had a brie and bacon ciabatta and a fish finger ciabatta roll which we had half each of and both were out of this world! Followed by a cream tea to share which again was the best we've ever had! A cream tea for one has 2 scones and a pot of tea that done 3 cuppas! Will definitely be back! Great food, great atmosphere and amazing staff, can't recommend highly enough!

Called in for lunch met by niki what a lovely lady food we had was perfect toasted sandwich and jacket potato 2 teas had a lovely chat with niki looking forward to going back cream.teas looked fabulous but we were full thank you ?
A friendly smile and welcome drew us in. We had tea in the garden. The server was so lovely. Great tea and the river running past our table.

We happened upon the tearooms by chance on our last day in the area and we had been disappointed by the service levels in other establishments. Not a problem here! Very friendly and super-efficient staff welcomed us and our dogs and provided best quality cream teas and cappuccinos with amazing speed. Highly recommended!!!

The staff here are extremely friendly and welcoming but sadly the food needs some serious improvement. We ordered a traditional cornish pasty and a Cornish cream tea. Our expectation was that these items would represent the taste of Cornwall as both are pretty symbolic of this fabulous county. The pastry of the pasty was soggy and had obviously been reheated in a microwave :( The scones were not homemade but were mass produced which crumbled once the cream and jam were put on making it almost impossible to eat. Come on - you need to do better !

Called at this cafe for lunch while in Polperro. It was lovely! Very good selection on the menu served quickly. Was nice to have jacket potato and toasted sandwiches as these sometimes get forgotten in Cornwall cafes. Service was with a smile and a chat which made the visit.

We visited here on 19/09/2023 for breakfast at 10am when they open.We were met with a warm welcome and so was our dog. The staff were wonderful and very friendly.We ordered the full English breakfast which was 2 of everything and had mushrooms, eggs, tomatoes, baked beans , hash browns, sausages, bacon and black pudding and a separate plate of toast and butter.We have to say that this has to be one of the best breakfasts we have ever had and we were full for the rest of the day. It was piping hot, fresh and very tasty.Highly recommend visiting this place and we will certainly go back.
