We had an amazing evening at our fabulous, local The Sardine Factory Restaurant last night to experience Chef Ben Palmers Great British Menu. His melt in the mouth dishes were sensational, showcasing some of the finest fresh local produce we are lucky to have here in Cornwall. You’ll also be looked at by the very talented Chef Charlie, and wonderfully attentive Manager Leah and rest of the fab front of house team too? Well done guys. You rock! ?

Lovely to take my mum out for a belated Mother's Day meal today at Ben Palmer's The Sardine Factory (currently cooking up a storm for the South West on The Great British Menu) and had a lovely meal (Ben generously came out for a pic with his ice cream trolley...if you know, you know ?).Really tasty, lovely food ❤️. I tried the vegan Wild Garlic Gnocchi with Maitake Mushroom and the Affogato. My mum had the roast and passion fruit pavlova, although she ate it before I could take a pic ?.

Highly recommend the Sardine Factory - such a great location in Looe and food is excellent! I had the mussels which were really really good, as well as a the salmon ceviche.

Excellent food and service, highly recommend this place. Loved the cote de boeuf in particular, the flavoured oils on the plate really enhanced the dish. Mussels were huge and fresh, some of the best I’ve had. Head chef Charlie kindly came over and greeted us at the start of the meal, very pleasant man. Couldn’t fault the experience at all.

Excellent menu, fair prices, delicious food with just the right amount of sophistication without being poncey, and the service was friendly, knowledgable and a good match for the high standard of food coming out of the kitchen.
