Our last night of a week eating out in north Cornwall. This was the best! The freshest fish, beautifully cooked. Fish platter was simply perfect in a superb stock. The staff were up to speed and easy going. Could not have been better.Dietary restrictions: One of us has medical dietary restrictions. Because each dish is cooked to order, they were able to adjust the dish.Parking: Masses of space, though late March.

Across the road from the beach, this is a great spot with friendly staff and great food. It's very popular, so advise booking ahead.

Catch in Mawgan Porth is no doubt the best seafood restaurant in the area. It's off-season, so it wasn't always open, but I'm so glad we were able to make time to eat here.I wasn't mega hungry, so I had the Cornish Dayboat broth. This was delicious and full of good flavours. My husband had the roasted fish and seafood platter. This was massive! I did want this initially, but there is no way I'd have been able to finish this. He enjoyed this. What I liked best was the service. Good food and fabulous service get a 10 out of 10 from me. Chris, the manager in particular, and his colleague both ensured we were fed well and looked after. We were also given 10% off for my husband's plate, arriving slightly late, which we didn't even think was late!Add this to your list when you visit Newquay, Cornwall.
Came here for dinner on Valentine’s Day, the food was incredible and the service was amazing. Would definitely recommend!

The main food was nice, toast is very expensive (£8) and only toasted on one side with hard butter that is impossible to spread. Service was good, nice waitress, actual restaurant was a bit cold.
