Had a great experience. The first time I went I wasn’t sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. I spoke to Tom, he was really welcoming and had some great recommendations for products, I’m not a huge beer fan but he was even able to recommend one that I liked and plenty of things for my friend, who’s a beer fan. We’ve been back since, the food and service has always been great. 5 stars all round.

Went as a walk in as we were driving past the area and I am glad we did.
Staff were very welcoming and seemed happy working there which was a nice atmosphere.
We went for a chicken burrito and a beef one with a side of dirty fries.
The burritos were chunky and full of flavour, every flavour complimenting each other.
Dirty fries did what they said on the tin, the chicken truly was delightful and the hot sauce was perfect.
Plenty of parking outside and had a queue of people so the lads are obviously consistent with the quality. Well done, highly recommend.

This is a must go to place!!! Absolutely scummy food and fully knowledgeable and cater for gluten free and vegan! The staff are unbelievably friendly and helpful and the food is amazing!! Dont hesitate to visit!

All of the staff were incredibly kind and helpful as we navigated the menu. Seems to get lots of locals rather than a crazy tourist trap. Would absolutely recommend!

We live in Newquay so didn’t stay but we have just enjoyed a Sunday roast dinner at the hotel. Hands down one of the best in town and made even more great by the amazing team working who were so super friendly and attentive. A wonderful afternoon of great food! We’ll be back and definitely for breakfast too - the menu looks great and so reasonable! They also do a coffee + cake for £5 which I don’t think you’ll find anywhere in town! And there is a 10% locals discount on an already reasonable menu!

The Fistral Stable

We came here for tea and were pleasantly surprised. We all opted for pizzas and loved them. They are made with a thin sourdough crust which made them easy to eat, the portions are so generous, and we didn’t feel stodgy after eating them like you can sometimes with pizzas with a lot of dough.

We shared some tater tots with sea salt, and they were fresh and I’d recommended them as a side to go along with your main meal.

Benches are also outside so people can enjoy the view whilst eating if they fancy.

The place is slightly unclean - there was crusts on the floor and on the table/seating area and it does look slightly run down - if you can look past that it is a good spot for some food.

After a recent move from the main hotel building, Zacry’s now occupies the space vacated by Emily Scott’s restaurant (and formally ‘Watchful Mary’). It’s a stunning venue literally on the sea shore- with diners feeling as if they are almost hovering above the surf. Amazing in winter and I would imagine summer sunsets will add another memorable layer to this experience. The open kitchen ensures that the hard work and attention to detail of the chef’s team are on display. Interesting without being noisy or intrusive. We started with Smoky Beet cocktails which were sensational. Highly recommend! The food and service were impeccable. We loved the charred leeks and the scallop starters. Would also recommend the Lions Mane, Newlyn Hake and Cornish pork chop from the menu we had. Desserts were also great - we chose the panna cotta which was light, flavourful and delicious and the Cornish fairings. Great! The service was friendly and attentive and made for a thoroughly enjoyable experience. We will return!

Amazing food! Honestly some of the best pizza I’ve had. The views in the back are so great overlooking the whole beach. One thing to be mindful of if you are sat outside there is no longer a covered roof so you are quite likely to be the target of bird ? poop ? we came on a Wednesday so it was very quiet only us and one other person so unsure on what service times are like when it’s busy. Take advantage of the 2 for one cocktails and the amazing tasty pizzas. Really great food. We have ate here 2 years in a row being in town the same week. Never been busy so not sure if it gets busy but would a million percent reccomend this place for food. EAT LOCAL! ????

The Travellers Rest

Stopped in after a long day travelling and exploring and we're so happy that we did. Welcoming staff, relaxed atmosphere, and very very accommodating for our dog Barry who loved the ham! My only gripe is that we didn’t find this place sooner whilst we were down near Newquay or else we would have been back! Tight menu with pub favourites, which is exactly what you want - we both went for the Ham and Chips and cannot fault it. I cant recommend this place enough.

We had our breakfast here just this morning, as well as two other occasions during our weeks stay in Newquay. All three visits we had the small breakfast and our daughter had scrambled egg. I canny fault Atlantic view cafe, the food was fresh, hot and tasty (the sausages were delicious) ALL staff were extremely accommodating, kind, polite and always smiling! What stood out for us was the effort they put in with children, we had our 15 month old daughter with us and the staff went above and beyond to make her smile. There is a specific table for families which has a shelf full of toys and books (all working, which is rare for many places) they also provided plastic plates with small cutlery for her too! We will be back next year and hope to see you lovely bunch again! ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

We fancied an ice cream after having food so popped into this place.. ice cream was so nice, so was the service. The lady who served us was a genuine, nice lady. She was so nice to my 5 year old. We sat upstairs which was a nice surprise. There was so much for the kids to do, they had chalk and a chalk board, some colours and Cute little baskets on the tables to entertain the kids.. overall a lovely place.Kid-friendliness: Lovely little place for the kids to enjoy their ice cream (even better for the adults to enjoy their ice cream as the kids are occupied)

We ate here after playing golf. It was very quiet maybe because it was the start of the season? Woody's is a bar that serves food, I wouldn't call it a restaurant. We visited at around 3pm which was nearish to closing time and they reduced their sandwiches/ baguettes to £2 each which is a bargain and great to prevent food wastage.

We also picked up a Malteser slice and quickly left as there was a big rush of people.

We shared the baguette in the car on the way home from Cornwall. It was very yummy, creamy cheese, fresh salad and fresh bread used. The Malteser slice was also very tasty.

I would certainly visit here again.

Always exceptional quality, the price does not come into it.
Having bought just a portion of chips in Newquay and Brean sands recently, both were put in the bin.

Well, well, well! We had the pleasure of eating here a couple of days ago, and I honestly can’t stop thinking or talking about it! Everything was perfect, from the incredibly fresh and delicious food to the outstanding service – not a single thing was missed.

Our server, Sydnee (I’m so sorry if I’ve spelt that wrong!), was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and confidently offered recommendations when we asked, all of which were spot on!

We were lucky enough to get a table outside on the deck and, to our surprise, were treated to sunshine throughout the entire meal. This place was really special and has quickly become one of the highlights of our recent trip to Newquay.

We will absolutely be back, and I couldn’t recommend this place enough if you’re looking for amazing food and even better service!

Walked into the cafe on our trip to Newquays. Couldn’t recommend this place enough! Very friendly team and great vibes. The cafe ambience was warm and bright, perfect for a chill early spring afternoon.
We’d ordered the Dragon fruit Bircher pot and the protein bowl with Ulu Watu and Oat latte. The Bircher bowl was perfectly balanced. Just enough sweet so you know there are sweet notes to it while not being overpowering. The ingredients were fresh and tasty. Absolutely refreshing.
The protein bowl was quite the flavour bomb and the freshness of ingredients just elevates it further. Starts with a little nuttiness, some creaminess from the hummous, crunchiness of the of the corn and quinoa and then comes the tangy and flavoursome dressing. It was absolutely delicious! The portion sizes were also quite generous to fill us at lunch time.
The Ulu Watu was simply refreshing and had the freshest ingredients. Just what the Mrs asked for. And lastly the oat latte was the all so comfortable and familiar flavour that I always look for!
All in all, a wonderful place, great vibes, amazing food and brilliant staff! Love it!

The Two Clomes

We called in on the off chance that there would be a table for 2 for Sunday lunch having phoned earlier to be told they were fully booked. Anyway, there was a table for us and we were seated in the lovely dining room. Service was excellent all the way through and all the staff were cheerful. I ordered the roast pork and my partner had the pork belly. He tried my pork which was beautifully succulent and wished he'd ordered the same because he reported that his pork belly was quite dry and over cooked although the wonderful sauce made up for that he said.

The portions were very generous and all the veg was beautifully cooked and very fresh. The one let down for me was the Yorkshire pudding which quite obviously had unmixed flour inside it and should have really been picked up in the kitchen when plating up as you could see it quite plainly. The Yorkshire pudding was over done too so all of that was left. I did let the waitress know about this when she asked how the meal was.

All told, it was a lovely meal and the positives make up for the couple of negatives.

Came here on a very windy Saturday night in Newquay.

Walk ins only which pleased us, they allowed us to order drinks at the bar and wait on the tables outside which was lovely and passed the short time by. We didn’t wait long at all until a table became available for us (still had the majority of our drinks left).

The food was absolutely delicious, we went for the pasta zozzona and pepperoni pizza with a side of chips. The pasta was definitely the winner for me, even thinking about it now i’m in heaven.

The restaurant has a lovely vibe to it, and the staff were great.

I would definitely recommend this place if you’re in Newquay, we will be coming back 100%.

Absolutely beautiful was sceptical at first to try it, I love Thai food but what a great place to eat. Thai green curry and those starter fish cakes. Amazing will definitely return. :) when I’m next up from wales I’m defo coming back

Thought this place would be good full of locals always a good sign. Had a panini and coffee top notch ?. This shopping centre is the nearest to where I’m staying at Newquay Bay resort and parking was easy too. Will be back.

Holy shmokes, eat at this place. What a find! The most delicious Mexican food. The best meal we have had in a long time! Something different, fresh, great staff and just absolutely delicious. Our only complaint is it was too more-ish, we couldn’t stop ordering more! Definitely worth popping a tip jar on the bar :)

Came here for lunch. The staff were excellent and friendly. There's a great selection of cakes and pastries. Plenty of seating upstairs. The atmosphere inside is beautiful, clean, and dog-friendly. The food was delicious but a little pricey. Overall, everything was perfect.

Wetherspoon’s The Towan Blystra in Newquay is a very efficient establishment. Breakfast was served very rapidly and very well cooked.
Sadly, the building is one of the more 'bland' Wetherspoon places with very little history of the place provided which is something Wetherspoon’s normally does so well.
The Towan Blystra is also one of the more expensive Wetherspoon’s, but still good value none-the-less.

After passing Sailors a few times I'm glad we popped in. Just wish we lived closer as I'm sure this would be a regular haunt. The staff were all so nice and tolerant and we felt at home straightaway. Very dog friendly and what a view from the terrace. The lager is superb quality! Would definitely recommend.

We ordered a regular cod, small cod, normal chips and some cheesy chips. Had our food within 10 minutes and it was delicious. We highly recommend them and note they were very friendly inside. The fish tasted fresh and the chips were delicious. Would definitely return if we come back to Newquay.

This hotel was perfect. A lovely big room. Huge comfortable bed. Spotless room. The seaview from our room could not have been any better. The spa experience put a huge smile on my wife's face. The food was excellent and above all the staff were so helpful and friendly. I could not fault our stay. We cant wait to go back again.
