Fantastic restaurant in Newquay. Really fresh and tasty seafood. There were five of us, and we shared the scallops and mussels as starters, and we ordered the catch of the day and clam spaghetti as mains. I’d recommend the carrot, almond, and pistachio cake or the cheese board for dessert. The service was outstanding. I’ll definitely go back next time I’m in Newquay.

Had a great experience. The first time I went I wasn’t sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. I spoke to Tom, he was really welcoming and had some great recommendations for products, I’m not a huge beer fan but he was even able to recommend one that I liked and plenty of things for my friend, who’s a beer fan. We’ve been back since, the food and service has always been great. 5 stars all round.

Went as a walk in as we were driving past the area and I am glad we did.
Staff were very welcoming and seemed happy working there which was a nice atmosphere.
We went for a chicken burrito and a beef one with a side of dirty fries.
The burritos were chunky and full of flavour, every flavour complimenting each other.
Dirty fries did what they said on the tin, the chicken truly was delightful and the hot sauce was perfect.
Plenty of parking outside and had a queue of people so the lads are obviously consistent with the quality. Well done, highly recommend.

We both ordered the breakfast wraps, mine with chorizo, this one was tastier than without. My partners had way too much spinach. My wrap was delicious, would have been easier to eat with gloves or wrapped in greaseproof paper. Also the paper napkins were cheap, please offer more with sloppy foods or invest in thick quality ones- I had to approach the counter with juices all over my hands to ask for more. Iced coffee was delicious and my matcha with honey was so good. The front of the cafe was nicely decorated, we sat at the back- the tables were not cleaned on the edges and the paint was pealing and crusty, not good vibes or decor here. Service was good. For the price, I would say you are overpriced. I dont like to leave less than 5 stars when the food is delicious as that is the most important part for me. But areas for improvement ?Also we wanted original coke or pepsi, fakes one taste crap.

All of the staff were incredibly kind and helpful as we navigated the menu. Seems to get lots of locals rather than a crazy tourist trap. Would absolutely recommend!

We live in Newquay so didn’t stay but we have just enjoyed a Sunday roast dinner at the hotel. Hands down one of the best in town and made even more great by the amazing team working who were so super friendly and attentive. A wonderful afternoon of great food! We’ll be back and definitely for breakfast too - the menu looks great and so reasonable! They also do a coffee + cake for £5 which I don’t think you’ll find anywhere in town! And there is a 10% locals discount on an already reasonable menu!

Zamans has to be the among the best Indian Restaurants in Cornwall.

The second time I've been now and it's a real struggle to choose which of the speciality dishes to choose. The menu is outstanding, packed full of all the Indian dishes you'd expect but some unique dishes too which all sound very tempting!

As I say, those I have tried so far, both speciality fish dishes, are absolutely sublime.

The service was exceptional with a very smart, polite and appropriatly attentive team to look after us.

Highly recommended indeed; a real treat!

We are on holiday at Cornwall. My friend who live there suggests me to go here.
Yes the view is stunning. From the main road towards to the restaurant is beautiful view.
Plenty of car park.
We sat at the sofa area as the restaurant was full and we just want to have drinks and snack.
The view on the way to get here is amazing. And the non smoking area sofa also have beautiful view. Nice sunset.
It's nice place to enjoy sunset and cocktail.
It just takes forever for the staff to come around to get the order. And take forever to get drinks and snack come. Maybe because the restaurant is busy for the dinner and sofa area kind like chill area for drinks.
The sofa area also looks untidy and table still dirty from previous guests.
Maybe staff need to have 1-2 people to always come around to check to this area and make sure this area is clean and ready for the next customers to sit down. We're tidy up our own table as it takes forever for the staff to come and do it for us.

After a recent move from the main hotel building, Zacry’s now occupies the space vacated by Emily Scott’s restaurant (and formally ‘Watchful Mary’). It’s a stunning venue literally on the sea shore- with diners feeling as if they are almost hovering above the surf. Amazing in winter and I would imagine summer sunsets will add another memorable layer to this experience. The open kitchen ensures that the hard work and attention to detail of the chef’s team are on display. Interesting without being noisy or intrusive. We started with Smoky Beet cocktails which were sensational. Highly recommend! The food and service were impeccable. We loved the charred leeks and the scallop starters. Would also recommend the Lions Mane, Newlyn Hake and Cornish pork chop from the menu we had. Desserts were also great - we chose the panna cotta which was light, flavourful and delicious and the Cornish fairings. Great! The service was friendly and attentive and made for a thoroughly enjoyable experience. We will return!

Amazing food! Honestly some of the best pizza I’ve had. The views in the back are so great overlooking the whole beach. One thing to be mindful of if you are sat outside there is no longer a covered roof so you are quite likely to be the target of bird ? poop ? we came on a Wednesday so it was very quiet only us and one other person so unsure on what service times are like when it’s busy. Take advantage of the 2 for one cocktails and the amazing tasty pizzas. Really great food. We have ate here 2 years in a row being in town the same week. Never been busy so not sure if it gets busy but would a million percent reccomend this place for food. EAT LOCAL! ????

Together with a family of friends, we visited the Fort Inn on a rainy Saturday. Unfortunately, due to the weather, we were unable to sit on the splendid terrace with its magnificent view over the sea. However, the atmosphere indoors was also very pleasant and inviting. The Fort Inn is tastefully furnished and offers a charming blend between a traditional pub and a restaurant. Our food arrived promptly, and everyone—including the children—was thoroughly satisfied. Afterwards, we were able to watch some football while relaxing on a leather sofa. The clientele was varied, the service staff were exceptionally friendly and relaxed, and the overall atmosphere was the kind one often wishes for in places back home.

We fancied an ice cream after having food so popped into this place.. ice cream was so nice, so was the service. The lady who served us was a genuine, nice lady. She was so nice to my 5 year old. We sat upstairs which was a nice surprise. There was so much for the kids to do, they had chalk and a chalk board, some colours and Cute little baskets on the tables to entertain the kids.. overall a lovely place.Kid-friendliness: Lovely little place for the kids to enjoy their ice cream (even better for the adults to enjoy their ice cream as the kids are occupied)

We visited at around 3pm which was nearish to closing time and they reduced their sandwiches/ baguettes to £2 each which is a bargain and great to prevent food wastage.

We also picked up a Malteser slice and quickly left as there was a big rush of people.

We shared the baguette in the car on the way home from Cornwall. It was very yummy, creamy cheese, fresh salad and fresh bread used. The Malteser slice was also very tasty.

I would certainly visit here again.

My experience of MacDonalds was possible one of the best experiences of my life. The menu was awesomely extensive so much so that I had trouble choosing which delicious meal I should spend my hard earned money on. We popped in about 3 pm to book a table and met with a warm welcome from a lady who requires some help with booking the table. She was fabulous.
On our arrival with our doggy we were taken to our table.
All members of staff we had contact with were warm welcoming and gave great customer service. The food was delicious. My husband had the seafood chowder ( I would have had this but I don't eat meat,- this may sound like a criticism it's not I was just a little jealous). His arrived and it was a great portion with an abundance of fish ( he agreed the bacon added to it) and was delicious.
My fish pie with peas greens and carrots was also delicious ( so I'll now shut up about the chowder). All in all a great experience. Please we came before the season truly starts as we probably wouldn't get in.

Walked into the cafe on our trip to Newquays. Couldn’t recommend this place enough! Very friendly team and great vibes. The cafe ambience was warm and bright, perfect for a chill early spring afternoon.
We’d ordered the Dragon fruit Bircher pot and the protein bowl with Ulu Watu and Oat latte. The Bircher bowl was perfectly balanced. Just enough sweet so you know there are sweet notes to it while not being overpowering. The ingredients were fresh and tasty. Absolutely refreshing.
The protein bowl was quite the flavour bomb and the freshness of ingredients just elevates it further. Starts with a little nuttiness, some creaminess from the hummous, crunchiness of the of the corn and quinoa and then comes the tangy and flavoursome dressing. It was absolutely delicious! The portion sizes were also quite generous to fill us at lunch time.
The Ulu Watu was simply refreshing and had the freshest ingredients. Just what the Mrs asked for. And lastly the oat latte was the all so comfortable and familiar flavour that I always look for!
All in all, a wonderful place, great vibes, amazing food and brilliant staff! Love it!

Came here on a very windy Saturday night in Newquay.

Walk ins only which pleased us, they allowed us to order drinks at the bar and wait on the tables outside which was lovely and passed the short time by. We didn’t wait long at all until a table became available for us (still had the majority of our drinks left).

The food was absolutely delicious, we went for the pasta zozzona and pepperoni pizza with a side of chips. The pasta was definitely the winner for me, even thinking about it now i’m in heaven.

The restaurant has a lovely vibe to it, and the staff were great.

I would definitely recommend this place if you’re in Newquay, we will be coming back 100%.

Holy shmokes, eat at this place. What a find! The most delicious Mexican food. The best meal we have had in a long time! Something different, fresh, great staff and just absolutely delicious. Our only complaint is it was too more-ish, we couldn’t stop ordering more! Definitely worth popping a tip jar on the bar :)

Came here for lunch. The staff were excellent and friendly. There's a great selection of cakes and pastries. Plenty of seating upstairs. The atmosphere inside is beautiful, clean, and dog-friendly. The food was delicious but a little pricey. Overall, everything was perfect.

After passing Sailors a few times I'm glad we popped in. Just wish we lived closer as I'm sure this would be a regular haunt. The staff were all so nice and tolerant and we felt at home straightaway. Very dog friendly and what a view from the terrace. The lager is superb quality! Would definitely recommend.

Upon looking for value for money other than the usual "pub grub" that you can get mostly in and around Newquay, I stumbled across Belushi's which overlooks Towan Beach as well as the harbour and fancied a swift half with a bite to eat.\n\nMenu was simple, easy to read and prices were fair to be honest as like everywhere, prices for meat/veg/sauces etc. have all increased a smudge so is what it is.\n\nOrdered the Belushi's Burger, which had smash patties with bacon etc. accompanied with fries seasoned nicely and 7 wings with the BBQ sauce (had a choice of others including buffalo etc.) with a pint of Fosters.\n\nGranted I wasn't able to sit outside, due to the ordering on the app not working via the QR code situated on the table so I opted for a window seat nonetheless which was just as satisfactory.\n\nBurger was full of flavour, patties were nicely smashed and seasoned as well as the fries that came with it. The wings were probably the best I've had in Cornwall to be truthful, as everyone has their own attempt in the game but these were falling off the bone good so kudos to the guys in the kitchen.\n\nYes, staff was a little skeletal but after a no doubt hectic summer with holidaymakers and tourists they could afford to down tool a tad to give those who worked hard over the months some hard earned time off.\n\nI waited a matter of a few minutes for someone to serve me and the young lady who brought my food was cheerful so you couldn't ask for much else.\n\nSome of the comments and ratings on here seem a little harsh to be truthful, however everyone is entitled to their POV but remember that they are human beings also so can only do their best.\n\nWill defo return in the future for sure!

Right here’s the things about pubs as someone who loves eating. All there expensive things on the menu food wise usally suck, yes don’t get me wrong there’s the odd thing at pub that stands out but majority of it sucks.

As someone who has worked in a pub and a very busy one and eaten a lot of different pub food it’s rare that there food stands out from the proper restaurants.

I bought a steak here and it sucked big time however most pubs suck at steak too. However there cheaper stuff like the chicken wings or the fries / nachos all the smaller portions foods that was extremely cheap like a pound per wing. That stuff was extremely nice for the price! Like good flavours and good amount of meat on the bone!

Drinks are cheap here and can be ordered via app or at the bar. The waiters are efficient and they regularly do ID checks.

Honestly I’ve been to a few bars in Newquay but spoons is always a good time.

We ordered a regular cod, small cod, normal chips and some cheesy chips. Had our food within 10 minutes and it was delicious. We highly recommend them and note they were very friendly inside. The fish tasted fresh and the chips were delicious. Would definitely return if we come back to Newquay.

We went as a family with a dog and the atmosphere was lovely, staff were happy to discuss the cuts and cooking of the steaks, food came out all at the same time and was cooked amazingly.

What a wonderful stay we had at Fistral Beach Hotel and Spa. All staff were friendly, helpful, efficient and responsive to requests. We ate breakfast each day and had dinner twice - all food was tasty and plentiful. The Bay bar is a relaxing atmosphere to sit and watch the waves on Fistral Beach. Our room ( 121 ) and bathroom were warm, spacious and comfortable. We visited the Spa twice - the Jacuzzi is an absolute gift after a day of walking the beautiful cornish coastline. The facilities are clean. Enjoyed using the lovely toiletries products ( Gaia ) in the Spa and in our room. And the dressing gowns and flip flops provided. Thank you for such a wonderful stay - we will be back.

Stopped in at the Tavern Inn whilst doing a few sections of the South West Coastal Path. I was looking for something that offered food and the midweek football in a comfortable environment. Tavern offered both. Good selection of drinks and lots of choice the menu. Staff were excellent. Friendly and attentive. Had I been with others, I'd have definitely played a couple games of pool too on tables that looked really well maintained.
On downside was that the football commentary wasn't on - but I didn't ask to be fair so they may have done this.
Would highly recommend.

Lusty Glaze Beach is a privately owned beach which has a restaurant, beach huts and a bar. It hosts special events and is really popular in the summer for weddings. It is absolutely stunning. There are many steps to climb to reach the beach so it is not accessible to all, a reasonable level of fitness is required. Obviously tickets are needed for special events and it is advisable to book the restaurant to avoid disappointment.
