This is the second year we have been for Christmas dinner. Once it again it was fabulous. The food was incredible with a lovely calm, relaxed ambience for is to enjoy our dinner. Staff were pleasant and attentive amd not once did we feel rushed to have our next course. All in all a great establishment with get staff. We can't wait to return.

A great family pub with a beautiful view, plenty of room for the kids to play and good food. The mixed grill I had was spot on. The staff are very friendly and the pub is very clean. Will definitely go again.

This was one of our favorite pubs to go to in Newquay. So, today when we could have gone to any pub, remembering how Good the prawn baguettes were at the Fort earlier this year, fresh warm, loads and loads of delicious prawns, I ordered the Prawn Baguette. We were off to a bad start when the Guinness had run out, so just the scrumptious prawn baguette to look forwards to. When it arrived I was instantly struck by the lack of prawns. The Baguette seemed to be one of those part bake, but really under cooked ones, doughy and cold. The inside of the baguette was mainly lettuce with a sprinkling of small, dried up prawns. I complained to a passing waiter and asked for a refund. Another baguette arrived, but this time warm and few more prawns but nothing like the delicious meal we had previously. Won't be ordering that again.

It was a short visit there for drinks but the pub was really nice , ambience was great .. neat and clean .. would like to go there again ..

Very disappointed with our roast, meat was so tough. Potatoes tasted like they had been reheated. Unfortunately we were really disappointed. I feel the Fort is looking run down, it felt very dirty also. The toilets were very unkept. Usually love this pub, but left disappointed after yesterday.

Amazingly well ran pub with the most stunning views. Outside dining area is perfect for where it is and the decor inside is so welcoming. Food was unreal and the staff were welcoming and friendly. Will definitely be returning. Also if you do anything in your life…. Have a carvery here!!! Yum!
On a wet and windy day a welcoming port of call. Great view out over the quay and main beach. We shared some nachos just the the right amount to go with a pint of thatchers gold.

Love the Fort Inn. Excellent food and service in a lovely British pub. We often visit Newquay and always enjoy a traditional pub meal in the Fort Inn. Would recommend it.

a good value for money Sunday lunch carvery, which is comprised of good quality food. The staff are all very helpful, cheerful & most welcoming. This was not our first visit here, we call in almost weekly & had eaten here several times & had the Sunday carvery several times in the last 3 months; and we will keep returning.
