Best coffee in Newquay and the baristas are always really friendly and welcoming.

Great little coffee spot in Newquay and reminds me of the amazing coffee culture in Japan. Great coffee and a really good vibe! Highly recommend!

Wonderful hidden find in Newquay, selling the best decaff coffee I've tasted in a coffee shop EVER. We bought two bags of the stuff - the beans were ground in store for us. Presentation, atmosphere and service were outstanding.

If you're in Newquay, The Roasting Room in Newquay has my heart for its top-notch hand blended, hand roasted coffee.I've nicknamed their hand-roasted blends "Truth Juice" because every sip gets me talking endlessly and keeps me buzzed for hours! The coffee is Strong! The first time I tried it, it was incredible and I've been everyday since and thrown mine Nespresso machine in the bin.The team, including Izzy, Kitty, Kirsty, Amber, and Lenny, makes each visit feel like catching up with old pals.I appreciate their efforts toward sustainability, like shipping some coffees by sail. The loyalty program is a bonus, and much more rewarding than other chain brands.I look forward to seeing you there, but please leave the bar stool closest to the till free as that's my spot. You'll find me there every day for my caffeine fix!

Was looking for a third wave place in Newquay for our visit, and this place was perfect! Bustling compact space with the appropriate vibe. Good selection of their own roasts to choose from. Went for a pourover and an espresso and was not disappointed! ??

Tasty, pricey coffee and pastries, but reluctant engagement from the staff. My coffee cup was cracked and leaking - pointed this out but didn’t get an apology, let alone an offer of a replacement coffee. Employee enjoyed showing her affection for another team member, which felt inappropriate. Place felt slightly cliquey. No toilet - was told we needed to use the 50p public toilet nearby. Will try somewhere else for our next coffee.

Great coffee, lovely ladies who work there and a relaxed atmosphere. The best coffee shop in Newquay. Hands down.

Have visited before and loved it. However, today the two girls behind the counter were rather disinterested in their customers, had minimal interaction with us, but were preoccupied with their electronic devices and conversation. Coffee was nice (and I'm a coffee hound!) but not overly hot, and sadly this was a pricey disappointment for us both - hence two stars. Won't be returning.

Couldn't ask for kinder, friendlier staff! Also, the cakes were to die for.Yesterday we nipped in here to ask if they had a bathroom we could use because my seven year old son had been pooed on by a bird! They didn't have a bathroom but they did let us come and use their sink to clean my son up. The whole time the two ladies kept chatting to my son, making jokes and being generally very sweet to him so he felt better about the bird poo. They absolutely went out of their way to help us out when they could have decided it wasn't their problem. I actually went away feeling really emotional because of their kindness. We did buy a couple of cakes to take away on our way out, and the peanut butter and chocolate cake was just heaven. My son had the coconut and cherry flapjack, and I don't think I've ever seen food disappear that fast! This place definitely deserves your patronage and next time I return to Cornwall I'll definitely be making a stop in here.

Really poor service. Rude staff member no attempt to smile or day hello at all. No cakes at all available. Refused to give a receipt as they had run out of paper! Avoid.

We visited Grounded Coffee Co on a rainy day in Newquay and it was the perfect place to dry off. We got one flat white and one chai latte. Both were beautifully flavoured and the perfect temperature. The accompanying water was more than welcomed and a lovely little touch.
