“Review for Butchers Bistro We've been in Cornwall for four nights, and without a doubt, the best meal we've had was at Butchers Bistro. The food was simply outstanding. I had the scallops and fillet steak, and both were cooked to absolute perfection—hands down the best I’ve ever had. It’s rare to find a steak that is so well-cooked and full of flavor, but they nailed it here. During our trip, we also dined at Rick Stein’s and Paul Ainsworth’s restaurants, but tonight’s meal at Butchers Bistro topped them all. My husband had the steamed mussels and a medium steak, and he was just as impressed. The quality of the ingredients, the skill in the cooking, and the depth of flavor made this a truly exceptional dining experience. If you’re in Cornwall and looking for the best food around, Butchers Bistro is the place to go. A must-visit for steak lovers and seafood fans alike!”

“Walked in and the restaurant was packed and we had not booked. It would have been so easy for the waitress (Paige) to turn us away but instead she was incredibly accommodating and found us a table. Not only that, but she made the time to provide excellent customer service despite obviously being very busy. The food itself was amazing, but the thing we left happiest with was the service. Credit where it’s due!”
“The food was lovely if quite expensive for what it is, although much depends on the type of steak and the size of the cut.
The service was good too and the place was nice and clean and a lot more spacious and nice than what you would think by looking at the entrance, but it could do with a refurbish to make it sound proof from the above night club and tidy up the decor.”
