An absolute gem in Newquay. Tucked away yet so convenient. Their menu is extensive and you get so much. Wines are amazing and have clearly been thoroughly researched and not at all expensive. It's a perfect spot. Highly recommend!

If you’re in Newquay treat yourself to a visit to this tiny hidden gem! Excellent choices of different wines and exquisite small plates (effortlessly veggie with tasty options for meat eaters like me - but seriously the food is SO good you don’t miss meat dishes). Such friendly & knowledgeable front of house with a great sense of humour. My husband & I had a fabulous evening with our daughter & her partner last night & can HIGHLY recommend the warm dates with blue cheese & honey - just delicious! Be warned it really is a hidden gem though next to a paint shop in an unlikely side road.

Real shame as had a good night a couple of years ago.It felt like I was interrupting a kids shared house who were all on their phones although they were staff.The croquettes tasted like they'd been frozen for too long. The padrons weren't cooked properly. At £35 you get 3 big lumps of cheese and some cuts of meat, which you have to be determined to eat that amount of cheese between 2 people. I'd probably charge £25 and serve half the amount.The meats were good. Avoid the ?njdua? Unless you've had it before, personally I didn't think it was great.Also miscalculated my bill by a few £s, which isnt the end of the world but not very professional.

Just the most perfect backstreet little place. Proper French vibes but the food is excellent! Such good value for money, and the staff are amazing. We had the Camembert board and it was insaaaane. Will definitely be back!
We came here for a hen do to do wine tasting and we had a fabulous time!The young lady who did the wine tasting was very knowledgable and put up with us being a little excitable.I ordered the crab nachos as pregnant and couldnt eat the Charcuterie and they were suprisingly good.We honestly had a great time.I would say that they could do with an extra member of staff as there were a few tables in and my only gripe was not having plates and empties cleared away a bit quicker. But the ladies were flat out so not their problem a case of needing another bod.I would definitely recommend!

We had THE BEST time for our friends Hen Do in June. The bottle staff really created an amazing atmosphere, they were very attentive. The food was exceptional. Delish and it suited everyone's needs. There were so many different options to share together and to have as your own dish! When we arrived we had the outside bar area to have bottles of fizz, which was such a treat, then we headed in to beautifully decorated area and served our drinks and the food arrived swiftly and beautifully present. Thank you to everyone at the bottle for giving us such a wonderful experience as always. Those too good potatoes are sooooo delish! Highly recommend.

We have visited Newquay twice this year April and June, people recommended to us to visit The Bottle… we were not disappointed! The food choice, quality and price is excellent and the portions are big. The staff are excellent and tell you if they think you are ordering too much! Lovely little premises off the beaten track. Great to hide away from the high street! Such a fantastic place - can’t wait to come again!

Really disappointed with this place. We called in advance to ask if they did gluten free bread which they said the did and then when we arrived they seemed shocked we suggested it! They had a handful of GF crackers. We had to go to Sainsbury’s round the corner and buy our own bread with no gesture of good will to knock cost off the bill or even go and get some. The sharing board is no where near worth £50. You got a slither of each meat and a slice or 2 of cheese, a spoonful of chutney and some other condiments that we were not even told what they were (and 1 was really not obvious) a few grapes and some oil/balsamic. The regular crackers they served weren’t your normal cracker, there wasn’t even a variety it was a large handful of thin brown cardboard like crackers and about 8 breadsticks. We got some regular bread for the other guests but not enough at all! The young waitress tried to do her best though. The other lady working seemed very rude and when we said anything, it seemed like such hard work for her! There was no knowledge of what was being served and we were given very basic information about the cheeses we asked about. There were only 2 other tables so not busy at all! Put a real dampner on our first evening on holiday. I would not recommend this place but if you do go, eat before hand or book a table for somewhere nice after!
