We love the whole experience, great location, food, price and service. Far superior to the pubs and bar food in town, we no longer frequent bars/restaurant's, poor food, dogs and expensive!

Totally agree with mrs H4rrisson comments below. Good food, good service, lovely views, and totally enjoyed the food (even though we took some home).

The best Sunday lunch we’ve had in Cornwall. The room had fantastic views and had been refurbished very well. The staff were friendly and efficient, the atmosphere good and the food was excellent. The beef in my Sunday roast was the best I’ve had for several years. The winter offer made the meal even better value for money

We dined here whilst staying at the hotel. We had breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and evening meal during the two night stay. The food was fantastic in all the meals. The afternoon tea was really nice and presented on a grand metal octopus display. The staff were super friendly and efficient, despite it being very busy for them. They are a credit to the hotel.

Disapoointed with this experience it just didn’t live up to expectations. I booked afternoon tea for my family and me for my birthday. This was noted in the booking and my husband also called to ensure a candle. No happy birthday at all. The menu online at the time of booking described a really nice selection of sandwiches and cakes/macaron and posset. The reality was average and some of it inedible. How can you get sandwiches wrong?? Thick layers of branston pickle, dull bread, no cucumber sandwiches as advertised. No posset but a bowl of whipped cream?? I wasn’t allowed to complain as my four teens were with me. Never will I spend £150 on an afternoon treat again. I’ve eaten here before and it was average and now I won’t be back. Shame as view is lovely and I have yet more vouchers to spend with this chain. An email was sent but no response from the hotel. Not good enough!!

Non guests - We had afternoon tea and what a treat it was. As soon as you arrive you feel special in this beautiful hotel. Firstly there is a great selection of tea's and coffees to choose from, its loose tea leaves but you get a delicate little tea strainer to use. The afternoon tea had cheese n pickle, egg mayo, salmon n cream cheese & the most delicious homemade sausage rolls. You also are given 2 scones each which are plain and fruit along with clotted cream and Jam, the bottom tier was filled with a beautiful homemade cake selection but we had to box them up as we were so full. Service was excellent and you were made to feel special. Great hotel, amazing staff and beautiful food - highly recommend!

We stayed at Padstow Harbour Hotel for 4 nights over Christmas 2023, eating in the restaurant each day. The meals were excellent, beautifully presented and cooked. The menus were varied, with options for all tastes. The waiting team were brilliant, always accommodating, and always a smile.

Sunday lunch with family and friends, lovely venue and view. Staff attentive and helpful. Surprised how quiet it was for a Sunday lunch. Food was on the whole delicious, I had the prawn cocktail to start which was quite bland with very small prawns. The roasts were all well received and delicious, pork belly was really tasty but no crackling and soggy which was disappointing. Could have done with more potato’s!

What can I say? A superb night in every respect. From the second we arrived to the second we left, I wouldn't change a thing. Staff were excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. Sheerin was an absolute gent and the epitome of someone who understands the food and service business. Speaking of the food...magnificent! Try the scallops, you will not regret it. Do yourselves a massive favour and give this beautiful place a whirl. I wish I could award it more than five stars.

Lunch with a lovely view overlooking the harbour side boats and estuary. Leisurely, friendly, table service from a well stocked bar for all tastes.

Family recommended here for Sunday lunch and I'm pleased they did - excellent meal, decent portions, great value. Beef was perfect - served medium rare as requested and beautifully tender. Great roast potatoes and lovely veg. Horlicks cheesecake for dessert was memorable for all the right reasons. Looked after perfectly by Jaz.

There is an abundance of high end food in Padstow and the restaurant at the Harbour Hotel is no different. What it does have is stunning views of the estuary. The menu is varied and the waiter service is first class

Great Sunday roast. Good food, relaxed atmosphere, good service and great views over the harbour. Will come again when we are next in the area.

Great place to eat in Padstow, with fabulous views across the Camel estuary to Rock. Excellent menu choices, including prawns and scallops and catch of the day. For dessert, the pannacotta with rhubarb is our favourite!
