“I've been following Paul A. on social media and I enjoy some of his recipes at home. This is probably why the expectations were high. The setting is good but in a day when all of Padstow's restaurants were full it felt quite empty. The food was good and quite good value for the price. We had the arancini which were actually phenomenal, however, when it came to the mains something felt off. We had a pizza which was 'okay' and the crab and prawn bucatini (pasta) which had good balance of flavours but felt a bit too oily and somehow it felt the bucatini are not the right pasta vessel for this type of dish. The disappointing thing was the service - although the place was almost empty everything felt slow, we waited at least 20 min just to get the bill.”

“Was seated after a short wait in the bar, beautiful table at looking out over the harbour. Staff was very attentive gave a personal touch.
Food was stunning, I have multiple allergies including gluten, onion and garlic and this was no concern for the staff and the chef.
Absolutely wonderful dinner experience and will definitely be back again!”
