The most fantastic Sunday roast and right on the harbour front, great to sit and people watch in the sunshine with fabulous food. Well worth a visit if you can get a table!

We arrived at 12:10 (they begin serving food at 12) we ordered drinks to sit down and look at menus, went to ask for the soup of the day and was bluntly told there’s no soup, we went to order three portions of fish and chips and we’re just told there’s no fish yet. Terrible service, wish we hadn’t already ordered and paid for drinks as we then had to drink them quickly to go elsewhere to eat.

Saturday lunch, sensible priced, great location, mistakenly overcharged, I pointed it out and they corrected it, but it was as if it was my fault with no apologies offered. Food served was good but missing cutlery, and couldn’t get anyone’s attention, so not perfect but ok. Food itself was ok but not exceptional. Great atmosphere and location.

Went in for dinner while on holiday. We had a great time. One of us has digestive problems and the menu was adapted appropriately, which is rare in our experience. Chloe waited on us and was so pleasant and accommodating that we couldn’t have asked for more. We’ll be back later in our holiday.Dietary restrictions: We explained dietary restrictions on arrival and a special non-menu dish was prepared!
