Really cozy warm atmosphere. The lunch combo is a perfect size with a nice selection of yummy sandwiches at a good price. The service was exceptional, will be back if I’m in the area again.

Steak was over cooked and food was a little plain, the atmosphere was great and service lovely. The plaice was okay as well.

Disappointing - food took 40 odd minutes to arrive. Not a massive problem, but no one came to tell us they were busy, explain the delay, or even ask if we wanted more drinks. I had to chase (twice). When the food came it was massively underwhelming. £4.50 for a bowl of what looked like and tasted like McCaine Fries. Chicken was dry - with no sight of 'jus' as per the menu. Kids burgers consisted of half a burger cut in two. They took a bit of money off at the end - my £6 beer, I think - which was appreciated. But still left with a bad taste in my mouth.

Excellent vegan nut roast and alcohol free drink options, lovely attentive staff too.

Delicious skate. Friendly service. Seemed a little crowded with tables close to each other but actually fine when seated. We will go here again.

Nice, charming hideaway in the centre of penzance. Nicely decorated and lots of inspiring art in the house. We stayed four nights with our dog. For that the initially booked room category was not suzitable. We bought an upgrade so we felt at ease.

Wonderful little hotel in the heart of Penzance. Clean, quiet, and perfectly located. Staff was great. If you're going to explore this neat town this is your best base of operations. Stay Here! Really.

A business that won’t accept cash as legal tender is encouraging a totalitarian state. It is happening all too often and these independent businesses should be making a stand against totalitarianism and should be encouraging cash.

Breakfast wasn’t very nice . Ordered full Breakfast, looked and tasted like it had been reheated apart from the eggs and the bacon was extremely salty. The cost didn’t reflect the quality. It was horrible I am afraid . Evening meal was lovely but extremely expensive. Only ordered two Viennese salad (chicken strips and strips of veg/salad) and two desserts - couldn’t believe the cost - could of almost paid for another nights stay ! The double room however was very nice and we were impressed with the bathroom even though the towel rail wasn’t working . Found a dead fly on the window ledge but otherwise clean. Complementary slippers robe and toiletries was a very nice touch as were the lovely organic tea bags . The staff were amazing , welcoming flexible in their approach and professional. Overall apart from the food and prices we enjoyed our stay .

The staff were so welcoming to our large party and even decorated a room with bunting and party hats that we provided for our son's birthday breakfast meal. One kind member of staff even popped out to buy some Marmite for my father-in-law who is diabetic and was trying to avoid marmalade and jam at breakfast.

We stayed in the Cosy room. The room was clean on arrival. The bed was very comfortable & milk, water, coffee, etc. Was replenished daily, along with the bathroom being cleaned, etc. We had breakfast in the restaurant every morning & everything was delicious. I would recommend the banana bread French Toast with a side of bacon added. We also had drinks in the bar in the evenings. The bar staff were very friendly & made good recommendations when I wasn't sure what to choose. Over all a lovely stay.

Loved this place. Easy walk from train station, super friendly and accommodating staff, good food, hip/funky feel to the place. My "snug" room was the perfect size (and price) for a solo traveler. It was magic when the cat jumped in my window on a breezy afternoon for a cuddly nap with me.

Our rooms were characterful and comfortable. Although small they had everything we needed. The showers and bath were great. The food was delicious - we had breakfast lunch and dinner. We especially enjoyed the garden grill and the prawn tacos.

We received a friendly welcome on arrival and had a comfortable overnight stay in this unique hotel. The staff are very helpful and we enjoyed a tasty breakfast before our departure the following morning.
