Cafes in Penzance

“A very good little cafe which I highly recommend. Good menu choice, very attentive staff, followed by excellent food delivered surprisingly fast. In laws had a sea food platter, which was excellent by all accounts. I had the calimari, fresh and tasty and my wife had a salad of some sorts serves on a flat bread. Again very tasty I was told. So overall a very good restaurant, and a big well done by all the staff, well deserved!”

“I walked a mile in the rain to eat here. I can say without a minute of hesitation I would walk 5 miles in a snowstorm to eat a meal such as this. Everything from the tea to the fresh bread was just right. Not a single spice overpowering, everything in perfect balance. Truly one of the greatest meals of my life and by far the best food I've been served in England. I walked in angry after a sleepless night on a train and walked home feeling like I could fight a bear. A perfect meal.”

“Lovely food although staff didn’t seem very happy and welcoming, there was a group of 6 of us so maybe that put them off. Don’t know but the food and drink was lovely so deserves a good review for that.”

“You have a choice of small, medium and large pasties. And it comes with a free cookie or donut. So I got my lunch of a medium beef, a cookie and a coffee for just £4.9, which kept me full for the whole afternoon. There were more glamorous pasty shops in the area but this one felt more local and honest.”
