Visited back in November with my boyfriend for some lunch. I seem to remember I had a sandwich which was INCREDIBLY tasty. Served with crisps and salad. Service was quick and a lovely, brunchy feel to it.

This cafe seems it could have so much potential but it’s just filthy? Dirty menus. Coffee up the wall near the coffee machine, making coffees with dirty milk jugs.. the surfaces hust need a good wipe.

This is a very pleasant and popular cafe and coffee shop. It's about halfway down Market Jew Street, facing south, so gets lot's of sun on such days. Like most of the cafes in Penzance, and other towns and cities, it shuts at 4pm. It's shut on Sundays. It's usually busy, the service we had was really good, and the coffee for me was excellent.I was planning to have some lunch, - their sandwiches looked particularly good - but it was too early for me. Hence I haven't scored the food mark.My friend and I stayed for quite a long time having several coffees, she had a coronation chicken sandwich with salad.Parking: There is a pay and display car park in the harbour car park across the road and down the Wharfside arcade escalators.

Just imagine, you have been sent to get some food for the train journey back to London from Penzance, only issue is it needs to be vegan. On Penzance high street you find yourself surrounded by Cornwalls finest pasty sellers and then you discover The Terrace. A friendly welcome greets you and the incredibly helpful staff will guide you through their extensive menu, with plenty of vegan and veggie options The food is prepared front of house and I have to say was delicious, flavoursome and different from the norm... A big thumbs up for the Terrace and its team and brownie points for me too :)

Asked for gluten free salad box. It had gluten in it. I am now ill and very unhappy. Gluten free isn't for picky eaters, its for people who are allergic to gluten. Take it seriously! Box also came with a broken plastic fork.
