AWFUL… worst fish and chips that I’ve ever had AND got overcharged, £41 and change for 3 soggy cod cooked in very used batter, undercooked chips and microwaved peas, no longer table service but a couple of tables that you could eat your takeaway. How is this place still trading ?

Proper old school chippy, lovely onion gravy. Fish, flakey melt in the mouth, chips n mushy peas fantastic.

A very weird set-up that feels like it's left over from covid times but staff were lovely and helpful. The fish and chips were OK: not the best but definitely not the worst I've had. Mushy peas were a but dry and the Pukka pie was OK too. Overall, it filled a hungry hole but I wouldn't rave about it.

Walked in and the smell is enough to put anyone off eating here waited an age for 1 portion of chips in the end we got our money back will not be visiting

Lovely take-away fish and chips! Very tasty and nicely cooked. Great for a quick, inexpensive but filling meal. The restaurant area is no longer open so it’s takeaway only now.

Worst fish and chip shop, EVER!Expensive, small portions, not great tasting. Shocking really.The fish tasted like it had been cooked in dirty car oil.

Paid £14 for haddock, chips, gravy and a can. Quick and polite service even when the queue was out the door. Food was lovely, a 30 second walk to the beach meant a scenic place to scran. All in, quality chippy

I would not recommend this place to anyone. I think the fish and the chips were microwaved. There couldn't be any frying going on because the interior on the other side had curtains closed because there were alterations being carried out and the frier was not being used, I could see this through the other door.

The chips were truly awesome. Best I have had in many years. Had to wait a fair while, but well worth it in the end.

What a little gem. The staff are fabulous. The lady on the till was super friendly. She went above and beyond finding out what was vegan and what was not. The chips were absolutely beautiful. We ended up going twice on our holiday and taking chips back to our tent. Highly recommend the place. Vegan options.
