The Dunes, 38 Ponsmere Rd, PerranporthMe and my friend came here for dinner one evening.. it was AMAZING!! The food was genuinely cooked to perfection, the views overlooking the beach are incredible.. staff were friendly and made adjustments so my Gucci fries could be a small portion as a side!! Will definitely be back!

The food was delicious me and partner both agreed it was the best curry we’ve had.
Food was all fairly priced.
We would definitely come back to visit if in the area again.

We were able to take the food upstairs to the lovely roof terrace and both had delicious mocktails to accompany our meals.
The views and atmosphere of the upper seating were great and the service was excellent and super friendly.

6 St Pirans Rd, PerranporthWe were there on Sunday evening at 10pm and bought a doner kebab, a hamburger sandwich, a portion of fries and a drink.The staff greeted us fantastically, they immediately took the order, but the interesting thing is the food.Kebab packed, not even the piadina could be closed, very fresh beef burger and well-cooked fries. Quality with the price paid? 4 Beach Rd, PerranporthAfter A long day’s hike, I arrived at Perranporth tired and hungry. The comforting expectation of having some British cream tea made me look for a café offering this specialty. But either the cafés didn’t offer it at all or not anymore due to the late time of the day. At No.4 the door was also closed due to preparation for dinner time. Probably the gentle lady host saw my desperate face and opened the door for me with such an extraordinary friendliness to make an exception for me. She offered me the best cream tea I’ve ever had in the UK with the softest scones I’ve ever eaten. Thank you for being too kind to me!

Very accommodating and thoughtful with kids - asked 'crusts on or off?' and brought kids food out first. Very reasonable prices. Thank you!

I'll remember this place for two reasons:
The friendliness of everyone we met, both staff and customers, genuinely, and the price of a Guinness. This is the most I've ever paid for a pint of Guinness, £6.80.
The average price of a pint of Guinness in the UK according to Google is £5.41.

The lady serving us was so incredbily lovely, and was more than happy to make gluten free adjustments for my coeliac mum. The food was 10 out of 10, possibly the best thai food I've had in the UK! Highly recommend eating here!

38, The Dunes, PerranporthExcellent visit to Alcatraz yesterday (11/03/26) at about 2.00 ish
Welcomed by a lovely lady - sat down and took in the spectacular view whilst looking at menu. Ordered two bagels and double espresso and dirty chai ( never had one before). The young lady serving was on her own but spent time explaining exact the dirty chai was and apologised that we might have to wait a while for the food as she was on her own.
We didn’t have to wait too long and it had become busier but even though on her own the lady ( wish I’d asked her name) seemed unflappable .
Bagels were lovely and reasonably priced. Drinks also good- my dirty chai was excellent and would definitely have again.
The lady serving was pleasant, friendly, professional a great ambassador for Alcatraz.
The whole experience was good and would return - thank you.

Honestly i demolished it in less than 2 mins!! The skin on fries were also exceptional and again seasoned perfectly with Cornish salt!! Plus I ordered right in the time of closing and they were so accommodating to this last order of the day - so grateful and so happy with the overall experience!! If you’re in Perranporth you have to try this place - love it ?

This comment is aimed at the one before this comment as I was there and witnessed the entitlement. Amazon bought cards do NOT make your dog an assistance dog. Seeing eye dogs and REAL support dogs will be allowed with documentation from a medical professional.

The reason for the review score is that we stopped today to get some to bring home for our families, I ordered 5 traditional and 1 cheese and onion. They were all crammed into one bag. We drove 6 hours home only to realise we had been given 4 traditional and 1 cheese onion. Highly annoying.

7-8 Lower Tywarnhayle, PerranporthGreat little gem of a place. I was introduced to this place by a friend who said the place had the best hot chocolate, they were quite correct. Even with using oat I found it hot thick and delicious. I came back for lunch and will be back again for sure.
