This shop has been a satnav feature for years. My law is - if we cross into Cornwall, no matter where we're going, we have to visit Ice & Bites in Perranporth. Really friendly staff, amazing pasties (try the 'proper job') and mind-blowing ice-cream. They serve an 'ansum' job - 3-scoop cone filled with vanilla whippy ice-cream, two massive scoops of vanilla ice-cream topped with a scoop of clotted cream. This ought to become a Cornish trade mark! Love it.

After trying 5 cornish pastie shops & no GF came across this place, Excellent choice of Cheese, Chicken or traditional Pasties. Mmm even bought some uncooked ones to take home.

Honest review as always Literally THE nicest tasting traditional Cornish pasty I have ever had. Seasoning was on point. Texture was lovely. Full of filling. Pastry was cooked to perfection. I used to get the Cornish pasties from the butchers but on a whim I tried here. I wish I tried it sooner.

Thank you, freshly made on site. They do sell out, and they do keep cooking through out the day, but could be a long wait, till the next batch comes out. We've tried a few times this week, and always been sold out. Was lucky today and managed to get 3 pasties and two baguettes. ( which sandwiches/baguettes you wait while they do them up for you.) Very tasty and worth the wait!! I would definitely go again. And so happy we managed to get some today before we head back home. Please do visit them!!!! It's a must...

We have been visiting Ice and Bites for the last 12 years. 6 of which we have been Vegan. We always order in bulk on the last day of our holiday and pick them up freshly baked for us ready for our long journey home. They are the best Vegan traditional flavoured pasties we have discovered.

During our weeks holiday we came here three times to buy pasties. I hoped to be able to get a broccoli and cauliflower cheese pasty but it wasn't available. I was offered a cheese one with sweetcorn but I don't like sweetcorn so opted for something different. We can recommend the chicken and mushroom, steak and ale and lamb and mint. We also tried the sausage rolls and shortbread biscuits. All very nice. We will definitely return.

Jess was a superstar explaining the process by which the gluten free pasties are made and prepared and that she’d make considerations with the utensils to serve the sorbet into a gluten free cone. Absolutely faultless service and the pastie and cone were DELICIOUS! 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be returning when I’m next in the area! Not to be missed if you love pasties and have dietary requirements! And my friends adored their normal pasties and ice creams too! Thank you!

Coming away on holiday is always daunting when you have food allergies, I have a gluten, dairy and nut allergy so most things will contain one of those three and finding food that’s suitable can be difficult. I was over the moon when I found Ice and Bites and I could have a traditional Cornish pasty that was GF DF and nut free!! They’re baked in a bag to be kept separate and the two lovely staff were amazing, really reassuring and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. Perranporth is a really special place to me and my family and I’m so happy there’s places I can eat here too ❤️ Safe to say I’ll be returning year after year, and thanks so much again Ice and Bites for being inclusive with what you offer! I was so happy eating a Cornish pasty on the beach like I did as a kid. Thank you

Fabulous pasties, great variety, lovely people. Can I recommend todays newest pasty cauliflower, cheese and leek. A real winner! Husband says it’s the best yet!

The staff were really friendly & helpful even when they were trying to close up one late afternoon they still helped us get our lovely pasties. The next day again really friendly & helpful, we had both Traditional Cornish & a variety of their Vegan range of pasties. Will definitely buy our Pasties from them next time we visit Perranporth.
