Great service good selection of food at very reasonable price and bottomless hot drinks!! The staff are always efficient and very friendly. Nice homely pub always warm and welcoming.

Many thanks to staff on Saturday evening, who helped return a lost phone. Much appreciated. Thanks again.

Poor service. Especially from management which is shocking. Walked in around 9pm and was dead. Only 2 customers. We walked in to find all members of staff sat on a table doing nothing but gossiping except from one member of staff who was the only one working all by himself. We walk in through the front door and before we were even able to order a drink or find a table some woman who I am assuming was the manager on site walks up to us and demands to see our ID to make sure we are even allowed in the restaurant. This is appalling as we didn’t even get a nice greeting or was even asked in a respectful tone. We hand her our ID and humble her with proving to her that we are even over the age limit. The fact she asked before we even ordered was rude and quite frankly embarrassing for her. As a front of house member myself I know how to confront customers and still treat them with respect even if they are underage. She was just on a power trip and I suggest to drop the attitude and act like an adult especially when you work around young adults as you are their role model in the work place.

Poor service, visited for breakfast. Breakfast served 8 till 12. Arrived at 11.45. It was 12.01 by the time someone served us due to staff shortages. Manger said he could not do breakfast as it's 1 min too late. I explained we had been waiting at the bar for 10 min and he said nothing he could do and go ahead and put a bad review. Not great management

Great location and nice building. Food was as you’d expect, so we knew what we were getting, which was good. All in all a great visit.

Absolutely appalling the general manager doesn't like visitors, he tried to make us wait nearly an hour for a table for us to have enough of waiting and sitting down ourselves after many other people had walked in and sat down whilst we were still standing. Wouldn't have been a 1 star due to him.Nearly an hour in paying for parking on a night when nothing else is open is a joke and feel when busy should have a way so don't have to keep going out to top up the parking.

Went here twice in a day as staying nearby. Good choice of food served quickly. Very busy but tables tended to quickly. Surprised by price, family of four food and drinks for less than £40Kid-friendliness: Kids menu with colouring and crayons. Ideal size and variations for fussy eaters

Went into the Green Parrot 3 times whilst staying just outside Perranporth (walking distance) and it was excellent every time. The Elland 1872 Porter was a first class pint and the steak we had on Tuesday was also good. I must mention Will, the Duty Manager who worked tirelessly every time we were in there, great service with a smile.

There's loads if seating outside as well as inside. Inside the aircon is very efficient on a hot day. There's the normal good choice on the menu which caters for most tastes. Can order on the app which is easy or up at the bar.Food came quickly and was well cooked. The portion sizes were great.

Was told we couldn’t even sit outside in the garden area with our dog. Was turned away even though we had intended eating!!

Had lunch here last Friday 8/9/23, food was ok, but by the time I had queued to ask about the lack of condiments which needed replenishing it had gone cold, they let themselves down I'm afraid, but the Darkside of the moose at 99 pence a pint was a great pint, in fact we went back later for a second.

Good honest food excellent price would recommend. Meals came out hot and reasonably quick staff friendly.

Visited today with family and if I hadn’t been so hangry I would’ve sent it back. I ordered the American cheese burger and it was a disgrace. Imagine a McDonald’s burger that’s been steamrollered and cooked about five times over and placed inside a stale bun, accompanied by about 10 chips. Dry AF. Also ordered the sirloin steak - the meat itself looked ok but it was literally just a slab of meat again served with about 10 chips. Nothing else, if you want peas etc, you have to order the “gourmet” …. I think you need to look up the definition of the word gourmet ? Don’t get me wrong, I understand this is chain pub food but seriously…I don’t know how they have the gall to serve this tripe.

Worst spoons meal ever. Pinger meal. Flat cold. Mixed grill like cardboard. Tennessee chicken burger same. AVOID LIKE THE PRAGUE.

This Wetherspoons was a really nice spot to visit whilst in Perranporth for a short while. The pub is aesthetically pleasing and appears to maintain a good social environment.Vegetarian options: I had the vegetarian brunch here. It was of really nice quality.
