Super quality shellfish and great value. Sweet prawns and super fresh oysters. The mussels were plump and the crab huge. It says for two people, but I think it would easily feed four with some nice fresh bread. My wife bought it as a gift for me and we will definitely reorder.

Fish I ordered is good, but the pack of mussels were not, they were really tiny.

We had a wonderful experience with The Cornish Fishmonger. Their customer service is excellent, the food we've eaten so far is fresh and very tasty. We have the oysters which I think were great value as the pieces were big and meaty. The scallops were very nice and tender. We are yet to try the octopus we;ve ordered but I am sure it won't disappoint. Thank you so much

Lobster \\u0026 scallops arrived a day late despite the box stating in several places that it should be delivered same day.\\nOnce arrived, the packaging had melted and the product was starting to smell. We were concerned about becoming ill and didn’t eat the lobster.\\nI reported the late delivery \\u0026 my concerns to customer service who told me the product stays fresh for up to 72 hours. This was not the case for us. Disappointed with the product and service, particularly as this is a luxury product at a high price.\\nThere are plenty of alternative suppliers which we will be trying.

Amazing service! The Cornish Fishmonger arranged some fresh Octopus last minute together with Oysters whilst nobody else in Cornwall seemed to be able to. Paid over the phone, picked it up and enjoyed it last night for dinner! Thank you so much and cannot wait to have some more :)

I spent over £70 on crabs, scallops and prawns for mother day. The Seafood arrived defrosted, and the Crabs were entirely full of Roe, i would have expected to not have been sent 2 hens. i contacted the Cornish Fishmonger and was told Crab are not at their best at the moment .......why therefore have them on the market? I will go to my usual suppliers Fish for Thought, Wright brother or the Cornish Crab company

I ordered a fruit de mer platter. The most enjoyable platter for sea food lovers. Valentine weekend delight. If this had been my first experience of sea food I would never eat it again. Watery mess in the head of lobster. Rubbery tail. Mussels tasteless. A use by date of May 22 in the label. The most disgusting food I have ever had. Oysters dry , ate one.everything on the bin. An outrageous waste of money. As for the king crab or spider crab as we know it. Old and watery.UPDATE.I contacted the Cornish Fishmonger and gave the feedback as written above. They replied within hours and have offered a replacement fruit du Mer to show how good their produce is. I was surprised and and impressed with their genuine concern and I look forward to receiving this delightful mix of seafood. I am confident it will right all the wrongs.

Really disappointed with my first order. The crab was a Cornish crab which you only eat the legs so very little meat and not very nice. It came frozen so not sure how fresh it was when frozen. The prawns and crevettes were sourced from Asia so not really Cornish! On the plus side the lobster although very small was lovely and the smoked salmon was really good . But all in all of a very good experience.

An excellent Octopus to be honest, which is very rare to find. Fresh sardines were also brilliant. Everything cleaned and ready for use at my doorstep. Used quite a few times so far and I will not stop. Only improvement I can find, is to be able to receive a time window/slot for the delivery.. but other than that.. absolutely strongly reccomended!!

Had our first delivery of cod cheeks and scallops on Friday unfortunatley on arrival 3 of 5 packets of cod cheeks were missing. This is a simple human error. First thing on Monday they refunded the difference no harm done. The fish though was outstanding. Yes expensive but compared to the supermarket rubbish this was well worth it. We will be ordering again for sure. Thank you.

I am very happy with the seafood products and services they offer. Their products aren't cheap but it's totally worth it - fresh and premium quality! My 3rd order with them got an issue with product weight but they rectified it right the next day and sent me a replacement for the entire order (although I only asked for fulfilment of the missing item). Thanks for this.Businesses make mistakes sometimes during the packing process and how they fix their mistakes is what matters. The Cornish Fishmonger clearly put their customer satisfaction at the forefront of their business.I wish their business great success and hope they keep growing. Will keep buying our weekly seafood supply from them.

I usually don’t write reviews but I must in this case:We have ordered oysters, and found a live slimy worm. Luckily enough we spot it before eating them.We have also ordered clams: simply the worst I have ever tried, creating a weird foam while in the pan. I am Italian I know what I am talking about. We also had 2 seabass: average quality and well cleaned (gutted and scaled)We were testing different online fishmongers, definitely not giving a second chance to this one.
