Brilliant stop to eat. Plenty of options for food and a stunning view!

5 staff and appallingly slow service. 2 coffees took forever and then incorrect. Daughter ignored when returned to the hatch to ask for correction. Tried to order more food and but completely ignored at ordering end of the beach hut. No acknowledgemnent or apology for standing and waiting so in the end walked away and didn’t bother. Such a shame as a fabulous beach and this really lets it down!

Good coffee but there can be a bit of a wait if they are busy. The food is always good and they host some great views.

Just got home ? from 12 days at Harlyn Bay. Each morning my wife my dog and myself would walk around the beach then head to The Beach Box Cafe they serve the Best Americano in the area in my opinion and that includes Padstow the sausage baps are superb. The staff are probably some of the most friendly customer focused people Women and Men I've had the privilege to be served by. We also stopped for a couple cheeky drinks before they closed at 5.00pm.Thanks SOO MUCH for helping make our stay in Harlyn as brilliant as it was in those immortal words "I'LL BE BACK"Have a VERY MERRY XMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEARSee you in 2024

We popped in for a quick drink and it was a lovely place to visit and we will visit again this week whilst we are there. Great place to sit and watch the world go by. Thank

Rude unfriendly staff with little knowledge of the food they are selling I only enquired wether the sausage roll was vegan or meat. To be looked at like I had 2 heads. I ordered 2 sausage rolls 1 tuna melt 1 vegan melt and a cheese and chutney sour dough toastie 1 cinnamon roll. 2 lattes and 1 oat milk pumpkin spice latte £46.50. Not a single smile from any staff just ignorance and talking about anything between themselves. All female staff we wearing false nails which while handling food is not hygienic. 10 minutes after ordering our number is called 2 hot sausage rolls and cinnamon roll passed over. Another 10 minutes then the coffee arrives no lids just dumped on counter I’m short struggling to reach lids. Girl appeared again with the sandwiches had to ask for a bag to carry everything. Not once did anyone say enjoy your meal or drinks or even thank us for our custom. The rest of my family enjoyed their food and said it was nice. My cheese and chutney toastie was tasty but the Bread wasn’t toasted and the cheese wasn’t melted. The beach is lovely but if we come and I’ll be sure to bring a picnic

gorgeous view and nice food and coffee although a bit pricey for what you get. went here a few times during our holiday and the first couple of times we were served by some lovely lads, the last time we went was for breakfast on our last day and we were served by possibly one of the rudest women, an older blonde lady. she was perfectly pleasant and chatty to the lady in front in the queue but as soon as she served me she turned very sour and seemed to be very judgmental, very clearly looking myself and my boyfriend up and down. not sure if this was because we’re younger with piercings etc but still completely unacceptable. maybe a bit of customer service training required on her behalf.

Delicious fresh food- the pizza was amazing thank you so much! We really really enjoyed your fresh fillet fish burger and Hawaiian pizza! Hubby really enjoyed the cocktails- the best marguerites he’s ever had he said! Many thanks, look forward to visiting again soon :)

Terrible toastie. The bread was dry and crispy, like a crouton, and a bit burnt....i think it had been fried as it tasted a bit of fat too. Even the filling was a bit tasteless...I didn't know it was even possible to have tasteless Bacon! Staff were more interested in chatting to each other than serving too. Shame, because it's in a beautiful spot.

Expensive and overpriced. The sweet potato and feta wrap was undercooked and lacked flavour. cans are £2.50+ but suppose you’re paying for convenience on the beach. Noticed a few of these in Cornwall at other beaches and was put off going again. Shame - visited one of these in Polzeath 3 years ago and it was amazing!

We visited Harlyn Bay as a family of 7 and had a lovely time on the beautiful beach. The experience was soured however by an unpleasant member of staff at the Beach Box café.A sign clearly states that only food bought at the Beach Box café can be consumed at their tables, whilst I have absolutely no problem with this in principle, I would have thought that if most of my family were purchasing food from the Beach Box then it would be reasonable for me to sit with them and eat food purchased elsewhere as there was plenty of seating available.I was told in no uncertain terms by a rather surly lady that I could not sit with my family and eat, even though I pointed out politely that my family were ordering food from her establishment. Her reason being that her bins would be filled with waste generated from a rival food outlet! What made it worse was that the lady then went back into the café and proceeded to complain to other staff about me; unbeknown to her, in front of the rest of my family! The principle of only eating food consumed at the café is quite understandable and certainly at busy times, however there was plenty of seating available and in this situation, surely it would not have been unreasonable to sit with my family. There was certainly no need for her unpleasant manner.I would suggest that some customer service training would be advisable. We visited Mawgan Porth a couple of days later, needless to say we did not visit the beach Box café there.

The large pans of chilli looked fantastic but all I wanted was a cold beer at the time …the lady who served me went out of her way to get me just that. That’s what you call service.

The view is Unbeatable. The prices rediculous. All we wanted was a pot of tea for two. Only had "tea pigs ". Single watery tea. £1.50 for a Kitkat..Won't be going back..
