Cute little shop/café with lots of food, coffee, cake, little souvenirs, surfboard hire, wetsuit hire—everything you would need from a little café on the beach. We also tried their ice cream, which was very nice. Reasonable prices as well.

A hidden gem. A lively place to eat with very friendly staff and a relaxing ambience. The food is excellent, freshly prepared and good value for money. I would thoroughly recommend it.

The Beach Box Cafe

The menu is quite big. First time we ordered hot drinks that were warm but it was late and cold so was quite grateful that we could drink them quickly.

We ordered food the next day, pasties and the BBQ pulled pork chips, we were told 15 minutes wait and after 45 minutes we got our food. The pasties burnt our tongues, and had the microwave vibe to them so we won’t get those again. But the BBQ pulled pork chips looked and I was told they were delicious.

In fairness, the food that came out of the kitchen all looked delicious and next time will go for something different.

The cakes are overpriced with a red velvet muffin sitting at £4.95!

But other than that the staff are all polite and it is a very popular cafe so expect to wait over the quoted time at payment.
