We had a wonderful meal, excellent value, cocktails on offer, pins colada really good highly recommend. We also stayed overnight in our camper van (no charge just use the pub) so no worries about drink driving. Will be back!!!!!

We stayed at St Agnes for 2 nights, on the first evening had dinner with their 2 courses for £12.95 menu, my husband had steak and I had Hunters chicken, and it was beautifully cooked, and excellent value! We went back the next evening to eat too, and were not dissapointed. The staff were very welcoming, there was a lovely warm and friendly atmosphere. We are looking forward to our next visit.

My Great Grandfather worked here back in the early 1900's.. since then it has gone downhill. Staff were uninspiring and food was basic level pub grub.

Amazing pub, great staff, great environment Great location Reasonable priced drinks Great drink selection
I have visited St Agnes three times in the last year and The Railway is one of the main reasons my breaks there are so great. I hate plastic pubs (the sort we know from all towns). As soon as I leave the coach after 9 hours I make sure I get there for a great well kept pint or three. The landlord and staff are great and from the off I knew I was in a true local pub - where every one seemed to just relax and have a good time. I went at Halloween and the boss and the team had a great party for the kids and the place was decorated in fun. There is good live music - although i haven't eaten the food it looks really good (my hotel has a meal package) - but the beer and the whole experience is one that I really recommend..... After a check it IS the best pub in St Agnes - please try it.

We visited The Railway on several occasions during our stay in St Agnes. The food is excellent and extremely good value for money. A truly traditional village local with a warm welcome and friendly atmosphere. I wish we had a local like this back home! We are coming back to St Agnes next year and will most certainly be eating here multiple times. Although we are not big drinkers, the food is more than a good reason, not to mention a great the hospitality and theme evenings

We arrived to find the pub empty due to the ongoing road resurfacing outside! But we were welcomed by the cheery lady behind the bar, the lunch time menu was fairly small but we both opted for the fish, chips & peas they came fairly quickly are were absolutely delicious, lovely fresh fish in a light crispy batter, my only complaint was there could have been a few more chips! , but having said that we would return.

Lovely pub, great staff and atmosphere. Locals playing ELO in the beer garden was a plus, then bingo at the night!!!
