Occasionally I need a break from cooking. My wife booked here for Sunday lunch. Good beer, a nice wine list and very good service all contributed to the experience. The food was about average but the quantities were good. I can only score the food as average because I could do better myself but it was nice not to have to make the effort for a change. On the whole I would suggest this is worth a try.
Range of beers excellent.Location fab.It was very busy so suggest booking. Staff were very nice and working their socks off but needed at least one more bar staff.Didn't dine but food looked very good but expensive.

Three nights here in a very comfortable room quietly over looking the sea was really enjoyable. The bathroom was modern, and everything worked well, including the heating! Food and drink were equally good (the pub's own brewery is noteworthy), and there is an extensive choice of whiskies and gins (including Dutch). The slightest irritation was having to log onto the Wifi every day, but in no way a deal beaker. We'll be back without doubt.
