Small establishment but welcoming. I believe the staff are the owners and nice ppl. BLT baguette was really nice with thick, fresh cooked bacon and real coffee.Parking: Parked about 30 mtrs away but only sufficient for about 8 vehicles but large car park less than a 1/4 of a mile away.

We found this place by chance and enjoyed a lovely pot of tea and toasted teacakes. The interior is quirky and homely and we enjoyed a very enjoyable chat with Linda.

We both had a lovely vegetarian evening meal here.Traditional menu and calm and polite service.Good dogs welcome, that was a plus.I feel reading a lot of the other reviews people have been very unfairly judgmental. This venue a small and independently run establishment and therefore that has to be taken into consideration.Unlike ‘Table-Table/beefeater’ style restaurants where they have 10s of staff members, the venues are big and spacious and everything is cheap and microwaved - independent restaurants, cafes & shops cannot be compared too.The service was friendly and accommodating considering we hadn’t booked, we had a dog and it was Friday night. YOU, are welcome to read the menu from outside and make your choice, or you could eat at home and make it yourself! We had two very clean plates and left happy to be fed and watered and having not had to do the dishes!I feel people who have perhaps not owned or run a business themselves, are VERY quick to judge.Thank you for your meal.Vegetarian options: Yes, a good few vegetarian options and a vegan burger.

This is a small, quaint restaurant which caters from sandwiches, toasted or not to 3 coarse meals too. The service was lovely and friendly with a relaxed atmosphere, whilst the food was hot and beautifully cooked. A little gem !!

Small bistro in meviguessey a disappointing toastie asked for ham and tomato on brown bread served white toastie with cheese and tomato no garnish to speak of 5.95 .Again asked for 175mls of sauvignon blanc instead of 250mls total bill £17+ felt not worth the money

Avoid, as we're are staying in looe we pooped along to mevagissy as they had a fete going on and we love the place visit every year spend a few hours wondering around hubby likes to do some fishing. When we fancied some lunch and came across this lovely looking little place. However when you walk in there is no warm welcome or even a hello, we sat down and waited eventually I went to the counter to order my husband had a sandwich which when arrived i could of got better from a petrol station very basic, I had a cream tea which was OK. Again waitress never spoke a word. We could then hear the waitress and I guess some one else who worked there just behind counter saying smile and stop looking miserable remember to smile and to stop talking so loudly. That conversation should of been out of ear shot for customers. After a little while we decided to leave the atmosphere was certainly BLUE. When I went up to pay the person behind counter was bad mouthing the table next to us cause apparently they ordered wrong and it wasn't her fault as she had asked them a question 3 times. It certainly is not a friendly place to go it needs new staff or just management needs some training ect. I never leave a bad review I only ever leave good ones but this place needs avoiding. A warm welcome would make all the difference and apparently its not because they wrrr having a bad day as when we came out another holiday maker stopped us and asked what we thought of it in there we replied ok to which this total stranger told us about hes experience and that he would never spend another penny in there the first time was enough and I had to agree. It also states dog welcome but they don't even get a welcome and made to feel the dogs in the way. I certainly can't see this being here next year when we visit. If you guys are I will be surprised maybe give staff some training.... also smile and greet your paying customers.

Slow service. Waited an hour for food. Drinks only bit that was ok. 4 of us. Tuna mayo on brown bread was cheap bread that was dry. Tasteless. Prawn sandwich on white again dry bread and too much sauce. Ham, egg and chips that was only hot meal was cheap packet ham. Paid over the odds for food. Get better food and faster service in a greasy spoon cafe. Will not be recommending to anyone and won’t go back. My husband did complain politely and l think the lady was shocked. Oh and not impressed that the waitress stood with her shoes on on a chair from restaurant to reach up and turn fan on! Really!

Just had a brilliant cream tea here, no idea why the place was empty! Don't be fooled if it's quiet, fab scones we won't be needing dinner. Thanks for the lovely welcome & service.Dog & child friendly too, which made our life considerably easy.

Do not recommend. My family of 4 visited during the Easter holidays and unfortunately we had to send one of the dishes back, as it wasn't as advertised and poorly cooked. Despite owners being friendly enough the food just isn't up to standard and wouldn't return.

Tiny place, yet allows dogs. Apart from the hygiene issues, with one of off us being asthmatic and potentially hospitalised or worse by dog skin and fur, we couldn't eat there. Disappointing that so many restaurant and cafe owners are insensitive.
