Very disappointed in this hotel. There was no hot water in both our suites in the morning this was partially awkward as we had to book a time for our breakfast at the time of booking the rooms. We called reception to tell them we had no hot water and they told us it was because lots of guests must have been using the water and to wait 20 minutes for it to heat up. We told them that we would miss our breakfast slot in that case and we would have to be late. When we arrived the table we had booked and had been shown the night before was to be given to someone else because we were too late. I insisted that we would be sitting at the table we had been promised and it was no fault of ours that we couldn’t get showered in time for our breakfast because they couldn’t supply hot water. We were told we would have to sit in the library which is dark and truly an evening room. So they eventually conceded that we could sit in the conservatory. The table set up in the library wasn’t used so I really can’t understand what the problem was.There is no real menu in the evening, I think it was the choice of pizza and one other dish. The breakfast was well presented and delicious. I couldn’t recommend this hotel. I think it is important that they sort out their plumbing issues as although we eventually got hot water it was an embarrassing trickle.

A wonderful and personal welcome on arrival. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful. The decor is a beautiful unique and boutique aesthetic and the rooms were comfortable, full of lovely personalised treats and messages. The food is also excellent and all keenly priced. Will definitely be going back.

We had a wonderful time visiting Boscundle Manor. The warm welcome, alongside a cosy atmosphere and thoughtful touches made our visit memorable and were much appreciated. The halloumi and brie burger was absolutely delicious! We can’t wait to return for another meal in this lovely setting.

Went for afternoon tea for the fifth time, there is no where else to touch it. Savoury and sweet treats all home made with local ingredients, and all a little different from the usual. Beautiful surroundings and lovely people. Would highly recommend.

We booked this for our very well travelled Taiwanese friends on their 4th visit to Cornwall, where they have previously stayed at some of the top hotels around St Austell. The hosts were most welcoming and went out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay, nothing was too much trouble. Our friends were absolutely delighted with the spacious and lavishly furnished Rebecca room, and the excellent personal service. My wife and I joined them for breakfast each day, made from locally sourced ingredients... Delicious! Our friends left feeling relaxed and revived.

The hotel is only 10 minutes drive from Eden project and only a few minutes drive from other attractions. Owners go out of their way to make your stay perfect. Parking good and a small swimming pool and lovely gardens. Food lovely. Cooked breakfast is excellent. Rooms beautifully done. Book for meals if going out to eat as places get booked up.

Fabulous afternoon tea, delicious savoury pastries, soupette, and sweet treats. Can highly recommend a visit, loved the manor sausage roll, smoked salmon and pear and ginger panna cotta. The service was superb and such a lovely garden setting.

This is our second visit to this wonderful small hotel . Service is on a very personal level and extremely friendly . No complaints about anything at all ! We had Rebecca as our room this time . Lovely and comfortable with a huge tv and super sofa to sit on . Nice outdoor space and the wonderful smell of baking wafting up from the kitchen . Louise is a master baker and lovely muffins are left hanging on you door in the morning . Jason cooks a mean breakfast with a good choice of dishes especially the veggie one ! Beautiful eggs as well . All cooked to order and perfection . The addition on the evening snack menu from Thursday to Sunday means that after a tiring day you can setting with a glass of fizz and an excellent burger ( with spam fritter !) or a lovely handmade artisan pizza ! The lounge, bar and library are comfortable places to sit and socialise and most of the suites have an outside space so you can enjoy the sunshine or sit and chill in your dressing gown . They have a small indoor pool and the most amazing massage therapist who performs wonders for tired and achy bodies . A truly lovely stay and we will be back .
A bit of a muddle checking in, but once that was sorted it was fine. Lovely room, new shower room and comfortable bed. Would advice that the restaurant was not open on Sunday night. How ever the bar was, which had a great New Zealand Marlborough. This hotel is not suitable for any one who finds stairs a challenge. It a very old building with stairs going up and down all over the place

Most wonderful break at Boscundle. A real home from home feel.From the moment we made the booking to the moment we left we loved it! The in room treats and the pre breakfast muffin was a wonderful touch. I had a wonderful treatment as well, I highly recommend booking a treatment while you're there!

What a wonderful place..Boscundle provides hospitality in the true sense of the word; a welcome, spotless, sweet smelling haven after a long day’s travelling. Amazing beds and crisp, sparkling clean linen, inspiringly quirky decor and actual fresh milk in the room for your coffee, we really felt like we could ask for anything we needed and they would do their best to oblige…how a hotel should be. A really special place; thank you Louise and Jason, we are already planning our return.
