Visited some weeks ago. Delicious fish. Didn't seem too expensive to me. Returned 4th January for more but they've got the builders in so it's shut. Could be for a while but no indication. Went round the corner to Shark Fin.

The hoomans stopped in here when we visited Mevagissy. They had fish finger sandwiches and from the sounds they made they very much enjoyed them. I was treated to a side of bacon! The lady that served us was lovely and it was no bother cooking my bacon, she even asked if I’d like it crispy! ??❤️

Wife and I had a of panini each with drinks, wife could not have a decaf cappuccino so she had make do with a instant coffee. Panini’s were small and lacking in fillings. Very expensive for what we had. Will not go back anytime soon.

Just visited this place for the worse meal I have ever had in my life. Chose sausage and mash that turned up as two things that kind of resembled sausages on a bed of something, I assumed someone had boiled some potatoes and then hit them until they broke up, no cream or butter or milk. It also came with a jug of gravy that needed cutting with a knife. I paid the exorbitant price of £8.50 for this. We completed our " meal" with two teas one cup had lipstick on it one saucer was so dirty and damaged it needed binning. Having been grumped and growled at a total of three times by the extremely rude woman behind the counter we made our exit and vowed never to return to this awful place again

Basic cafe and chip shop all as you would expect. Unfortunately it is in the middle of Mevagissey, total tourist trap, and therefore charging extortionate prices.

Really, really disappointing. My haddock and chips tasted, and looked like it had come straight out of a frozen Birds Eye box. My wife and Son both had a panini, which neither finished. I've eaten here many times before, and never had a meal there as bad as this, maybe it was just bad timing...

Fresh, light and super tasty, we stopped here for fish and chips and ate in as we didn’t want to fight with the seagulls. Loved our lunches and will be back next time we visit.

Lovely fish and chips here today, freshly cooked and tasty. Friendly service with a smile too. Would highly recommend. By the way can’t understand why anyone would have an issue with being asked to wear a mask, keeps everyone safe which is the main thing.

Took one look at the menu, saw the prices, laughed, and we left shortly thereafter. £11 for fish and chips, must be having a laugh. For comparison in my hometown it’s £3.50 for a huge fillet and lots of chips.Customer service also non-existent, long haired chap with slackjaw slammed the menus on our table. Er, ok. Sorry for giving you business, surprised there is any with their daylight robbery prices

Okay place, friendly staff. I had small piece of cod, wife had scampi. Comes with chips but no salad or peas or beans or tomatoes or bread and butter. Food wasnt anything special with 2 pots of tea come to nearly £30! Too expensive for a cafe.

DEDICATED TO SERVING A MASSIVE QUEUE OF PEOPLE AND STAYED WELL BEYOND CLOSING TIME.The fish and chips were delicious, probably one of the best I've had. Staff were great and we were very appreciative that they stayed open to serve everyone as the rest of the town had many closed restaurants due to covid.

Ordered a full English breakfast. Awful quality sausages, texture like toothpaste. Cost £12 as well. Marked up to 3 stars, cos of the friendly waitress.

Disgusting fish, disgusting chips, disgusting price. Worst fish and chips I've ever had! Fish was like jelly, batter was soggy and chips were greasy. Tourist trap, avoid it.

After a long journey, our first night in Mevagissey, we were refused admission to the restaurant because we didn't have masks! Even though our table was 3ft from the door where we stood, July 19th brought freedom day, where we live in Coventry, and everywhere else in England for that matter, masks are optional, but sadly, this local business take it upon themselves to continue the restrictions which every business suffered during the pre-vaccination days, we feel we were discriminated due to not being aware these measures were kept in place as we weren't even offered a mask by the restaurant, treating tourists like this is totally unacceptable, and I really hope, the local businesses that allow the option of masks as per government guidelines prosper , as they are the ones who really deserve to .
