15:28< GoogleMartin's Bakers• 5A little gem of a bakery with the best pasty's in Cornwall.Aug 2023 • SoloWent here today on my visit to Mevagissey and bought a large pasty. Let me tell you it's the best pasty I have ever had, it was full of meat and veg it looked and tasted amazing, the crust was just right not hard or too crusty. It was that good I went back for another to take back to the hotel. This bakery is a little gem honestly it really is . have had pasty's all over Cornwall on my travels and this lovely bakery beats the lot!Don't take my word for it! Try one! I am on holiday fir a week staying in Falmouth and wish I could go back but it's too far. I will be there next year.Yvonne

Superb Cornish pasties and pastries.

Advertised gluten free pasties. When I ordered one she removed one from the fridge and microwaved it in the plastic bag! So had a very unappetising soggy not properly cooked pasty. Just find somewhere else if you want gluten free.

This bakery sold hot gluten free pasties! I believe there were two options, beef or cheese and onion. Both pasties were individually wrapped to avoid cross contamination and the staff offered to heat it up for me. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quick gluten free lunch.

Busy little bakery which is always a good sign. Had a delicious pasty, almond croissant and two cream teas for a tenner. All excellent. The staff are all lovely as well.

After a long walk introduced our daughter to the delights of the pasty. She was very impressed and very full. The young lady who served us was learning the ropes and was very friendly and did a good job.
If you want a cornish pasty I definitely wouldn't recommend these

Fantastic service and lovely people. Best pasties in town and they stock Gluten Free too! Mrs wanted some gluten free scones and after checking out numerous cafés, we drew a blank. Went to Martin's and hey presto! If you need gluten free in a hurry, or just looking for some great pasties or Cornish cakes, this is the place to go!!

Despite being assured by the manager of the shop that the cakes I purchased at 10.30am were today's I was given 2 stale cakes. When I complained they insisted that the cakes were delivered today, even their main office said the cakes I purchased had been delivered that day. My only assumption is that their cakes are stale and inedible. I threw them away and when I complained I was accused of being rude. I won't be going to this shop again and like some others who have written reviews, I found the staff rude.

Popped in to pick up a takeaway afternoon tea for my mum. This includes two scones, jam, cream and even a knife all packaged up nicely. The scones were lovely and soft and the cream delicious. Mum was very pleased. We also purchased two donuts which were also very nice. Lovely ladies running the place who were very friendly. Would definitely recommend.
