It was an amazing place to stay and the staff was brilliant and super friendly, except one person in the restaurant who apparently had a bad day and had a bit of an attitude on our group of friends.Rooms: The rooms are good sized and we'll equipped plus pretty clean. Happy with that!Walkability: It's far away from everything in St Austell but there are a few offices, pizza place and cafe literally 3 mins away. But that's it.Food & drinks: The restaurant serve you with all the basics plus vegan sausages and vegan bacon (but note there is no vegan milk for your cereal).

Stayed at St. Austell Premier Inn to visit the Eden Project in November. The extractor fan in my room was so loud that it disturbed my sleep. It could not be turned off. I could not get through to reception either. Complained to guest-relations by email and they did not respond to me within the promised 20 days. Still waiting for a reply.

Visited on Sunday for a meal .. Waited 45 minutes for a starter which when it arrived was just warm and then over an hour for main course again not very hot. Three of the side orders were missing but to be honest we were so fed up with waiting and we had to be elsewhere by 5pm and just did not have time to wait for these to be prepared. We just wanted to eat what we had and get out Very very disappointed..Nearby activities: close to Lost Garden of HeliganFood & drinks: not good

We had a great stay at this place the staff were very friendly and helpful nothing was to much trouble. The room was very clean and comfortable.I have only one criticism and that is the toilet paper and that it was very poor quality and unusable, we had to go to the supermarket to purchase something decent. One of the most important things in the room is the toilet surely they can provide something better than the rubbish that they do provide after all it's essential.

Stayed here a couple of months ago now here again for our Christmas weekend away. It's so relaxing to know what you're going to get. Great service with a great night's sleep, room quality .. what's not to like. After all you've got your eyes closed for half of the stay. Booking our next few trips after this review. Thanks to to the lovely ladies who checked us in to rm36 on Friday 1st Dec around 1645. Excellent serviceRooms: Good size and spotless Quite with view over st austell bayFood & drinks: Breakfasts are spot on

Recently stayed here and I had a really nice stay, the bed was very comfortable, TV in room, kettle and some very nice Led mood lighting, no bath but did have a very nice new walk in shower. The hot breakfast buffet was superb, will be staying again very soon. Also was cheaper to stay here than the St Austell Travelodge.

Great location with positive and friendly attitude from all of the staff. Maybe if there would be a family room with sea view..?

This hotel is in a very convenient location on the edge of St Austell with good road access. Ample car parking. The accommodation is adequate. Rooms are spacious and clean they supply good brand soap and bodywash/shampoo. Ideal place to stop when on business in the area.

2.5 out of 5 for room as squeeked on floors when you walked aroundlots of noise from floor above us,i expect a little noise but if its called premier inn this is clearly not !!supposed to be relaxing but woken up by people above .bed i found matress too hard softer mattress needed for a relaxing hotel maybe.friendly welcome here when you arrive 5* by reception.option to have your room cleaned daily or whenever you require itforget carglaze pub we visited in october go anywhere but here no availability ??turned up just after 12pm as well when there were clearly tables empty and bar area empty got turned away( under new management(whoever you are you need to be retrained in management) let people enter to eat or better still goto wetherspoons in st austell town a few miles down the road no problem here !!carglaze pub a total joke !!found free wifi hit and miss you can upgrage for 5 pounds but if your hotel is called premier inn why not include this ?all you get is kettle hairdryer bed 4 coat hangers flintstone matressim not sure how this hotel would be in busy season ,as we had our last night before holidays kicked in bearing in mind october you could here the kids in other rooms if you want quiet in peak season i suggest with the family maybe a detached house rental or holiday caravan be better.saying this our room was clean it accomadated us for our duration of stay i would not return here though

Located on the outskirts of St Austell on the A391 it is easily accessible with a local bus stop nearby if you don't want to use the car . Bus goes to the train station in St Austell which has good and regular services around Cornwall. Restaurant next door and a decent cafe just over the road for light breakfast if you prefer. Rooms are clean with all the basics and the beds are comfortable. Pretty much what you would expect for the price range.

Just as good as the last Travelodge.Friendly & welcoming reception for a family with tiny tots.Quiet rooms with working heating. Hot shower worked fine too.So 5 stars from a happy family.

Service in hotel and waitress service was great - Kitchen staff need to up there game. A chicken salad is not difficult to get right. No deduction offered off bill and no escalation to manager.Food & drinks: Food was below average. Chicken salad was poor and contents not fresh.

The room itself was a family room. Clean and spacious enough with a view out to the car park. Only down side was it was stifling in there with no air con. There was a fan which we had on from the time we got in , to the time we left. Also, not related to the room, but we had breakfast in the adjoining pub. Awful. Service, barely there. Ordered a cooked breakfast and a continental. The bacon, sausage etc whilst on a hot server, was cold. And there was hardly enough to scrape together a full english. And for the continental, there was no fruit. Mostly the point of one. I informed the one staff member that was on, but it never got filled back up. So I paid £7 for toast and yoghurt with granola. Poor service. Poor food. And you could hear everyone complain as it filled up with people. Have contingencies in place for staff issues.

Stayed for 1 night on Monday 25th September in room 132. Reception staff friendly and helpful. However I must say the room was well below standard of what I’d expect from premier Inn, half repaired bit of wall around light switch. Paint peeling off the ceiling in the bathroom, brown stains splashes on the wall by the toilet, cracks in the walls in the main room paint peeling off. And to top it all, an uncomfortable bed which is very unusual for Premier Inn. Food was mediocre evening meal and breakfast. Overall not impressed !

The friendliest receptionists. Rooms are the best I've ever seen in a Premier Inn. I travel nationwide for work and this is an exceptional
