Lovely afternoon spa and treatment. Will definitely visit again. Very friendly

Room was fantastic, apart from the fact that there was no shampoo or shower gel left in the locked wall-hung containers.Unfortunately, we are starting our new year with dissatisfaction. There was a large event/gala which was not advertised on the website or social media platforms. This meant that access to the (small) bar and restaurant was denied as a first come first served, and was completely full. If this had been advertised, we would never have booked to stay. The spa also closed early, which was also not online. We drove down from a different county, only to have to drive back into St Austell to find somewhere for a meal and drink. The car park at the Cornwall hotel is quite far away from the hotel itself, and it’s poorly signposted reception. Which added to the misery. Overall, a poor experience.

Was great stay, Jacuzzi was cold but for the value to include spa and gym access really is a very big perk.Everything from staff, breakfast, accessibility, estate, spa and gym is all 5 star

Great spa, friendly staff. Room could do with a refresh, but comfortable bed.

I enjoyed the luxurious amenities at The Cornwall Hotel Spa & Lodges, including a fantastic pool, sauna, steam room, and hot tub, as well as a spacious bedroom with a comfortable king-sized bed and a balcony. However, my experience was impacted by several service issues, including a rude waitress at breakfast and incorrect information provided by the check-in staff. The hotel also requires attention in areas of maintenance, notably the lift and room design where drawers were obstructed by the door edging.Additionally, the smaller TV size and the cleanliness of the bathroom, particularly the sink, were below expectations.Overall, my stay was a blend of comfort and convenience, but it was somewhat dampened by these service and maintenance shortcomings.

We stayed here as a last-minute visit, pleasantly surprised with the size of the rooms, the breakfast and a friendliness of staff. We will certainly be back.

The hotel staff were friendly and polite. The room was front facing with tea, coffee etc. Everything worked in the room and it was very warm at night. Bathroom needs a little maintenance due to wear and tear, the shower was huge. The only issue at night is the doors banging, I think one of the rooms was leaving their room a lot. Overall enjoyed our stay and would return.

Great location for exploring the Cornish coast and the Eden Project.Nice rooms but what really shot it up in my estimations was the lovely spa which meant that the late afternoon after check-in and after breakfast on our last lazy day were enjoyed by my son.The spa was well used by locals who were very friendly.Rooms: I was awake from 4am when one of my neighbours made many trips through their balcony door which at night was very loud opening and closing! Otherwise loved our stay.

A true gem of a hotel. The spa is first class and the rooms spacious and tastefully decorated. Close to Mevagissy and the Lost gardens of Heligan, too!

This is an incredible Hotel, the customer service was exceptional, the room was fantastic and the Spa was utterly perfect.Food was a very high standard, matched by some of the best customer service I have ever received. A very good menu, a great wine list, but should ever stay on Sunday, absolutely try the Carvery, was a real treat. The room was very clean, quiet, the room was a luxurious size, with a wonderful balcony and the bed was so comfortable.A Hotel without fault, sadly I was only there for two night, would have loved to have stayed longer.Rooms: One of the nicest rooms I have ever stayed in, spacious, comfortable and quiet. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, the shower was a treat, facilities, everything you could want !

I stayed at the hotel last night with my partner for his birthday weekend. The hotel and grounds themselves were lovely, the room was great - the bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in at a hotel. The facilties were great, we used the swimming pool and sauna and also the gym.One of the most standout things for me however was the service, all staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I have to make a special note for the bar/restaurant manager, who's name I believe is Lee, her service and manner were perfect, nothing was too much trouble, all the way from lunch yesterday to breakfast this morning, she was a delight.I would definitely recommend a stay at this lovely hotel.

Positives: the food is incredible! We thought it was a bit heavy and pricey for a spa lunch but the food is absolutely incredible and massive portions and the staff are lovely. The treatments are very very very relaxing! The staff know what they're doing. It's a beautiful area.Negatives: the only negative was the spa itself doesn't have a lot of facilities so you can't really spend the day lazing around - there's a small pool which was filled with families, one steam room and a sauna. There's supposedly a jacuzzi but it's one degree above pool temp so it's hard to stay in.

Room was spacious. Breakfast is good, as is dinner. Bar staff welcoming. However the lift doesn't go to the 2nd floor. Have to walk up two flights of stairs, which is difficult with a suitcase.
