Cosy pub (can't say about food as we didn't eat)

Really annoying when businesses can't be bothered to update their opening hours online - this pub claims to be open on Monday on both their Facebook page and on Google, but in reality THEY ARE CLOSED ON

Brilliant Sunday lunch again, eef, pork or chicken with all the trimmings, can't fault it. Staff couldn't do enough for us. Fabulous.

I have visited the Crown on a number of occasions. The beer, food and service is always superb and the staff go out of their way to be flexible and accommodate you. Andy

Just truly excellent. This is a wonderful pub. Food absolutely top knotch the belly pork was perfection. The staff here are super friendly. Pub is clean and has a lovely atmosphere, very busy so booking was needed as people who hadn't booked were unable to get a table. They were very gracious in letting us park our campervan there for the evening. 10 out of 10 a seriously fabulous pub.

Absolutely lovely pub and food was excellent. As was the new larger we tried as it was Cornwall own and a very good price. Dog's accepted as long as well behaved. Booking is a must.Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian food had the curry very nice. Husband loved the Fish and chips was not greasy at all. Both had crumble with Ice Cream absolutely lovely.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible complete with a disabled toilet and plenty of room at table.

Lovely village pub, very welcoming and helpful. A pleasure to visit. Food good too! We left before the music started but lots of locals in.

Old pub in very small village. Good parking at back. Very good menu of traditional meals, including fresh seafood. Simple cooking with local ingredients. St Austell ales on the bar. Very pleasant welcome and service. Very much recommended.

Delightful Sunday lunch in traditional village pub. On booking, I was impressed to be asked if bringing a dog. No, so on arrival sat away from those with dogs. For us a thoughtful gesture as not everyone wants dogs around when eating. Service was polite and as attentive as they could be as it was evidently busy. Roasts ordered were plentiful and well presented. Meat cooked well. Only let down were the potatoes, which were somewhat dried out. But I still recommend this lovely pub

Had both dinner and lunch here while staying locally. Lovely, warm welcome and excellent food. The range of beers, lagers and wine is very good. Dogs are welcome and there's a lovely garden for warmer days. We'll certainly be back for another meal before we leave!!
