Very nice cafe, off the harbour so it's quiet. The service was excellent and the homemade soup was incredible. We will be visiting here more often.

Well worth a visit, small cafe, lovely homemade soup, scones etc. Up steps so not very accessible but would be fine in summer as tables outside. Toilet for customer use. A good range of decent coffee options. Actually use a proper teapot which looked lovely. Soup arrived with fresh bread and butter and the offer of more if needed, you didn't! Very filling, recommend the leek and potato. Didn't spot any highchairs but limited space quite snug. Local art work for sale on the walks. Very friendly staff.

Lovely fresh salad lunch, custom made. Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Also lovely for coffee and cakes. They don’t open until 11 which is a shame.

Amazing find I have to say the home made scones were the best we have had. Home made and as my friend would say "delightful " we will be back next year that's for sure . We did have cream teas in other establishments but nothing compared to "Olives"Amanda and Hayley from good old Wales . Service amazing

Inside and outside space available. It's a small venue so don't expect loads of elbow room but service is good as is the quality of the food served. Blueberry scones are brilliant.

Took the opportunity to visit this wonderful tea shop whilst my husband looked after our napping 2 year old and I’m very pleased I chose here to spend my quiet time… it was the best cream tea ever! The scone was so light and fluffy, and the jam and cream were just perfect. And let’s not forget the tea… the tea was just perfect. Highly recommend!

We found Olives Cafe online in the best places to eat cream tea in St Ives. It was tucked away on a small side road with lots of charm. We had cream tea with prosecco and it was delicious. The staff were very friendly and the service was quick and efficient. It's a must place to visit.

We visited the Olive cafe on our visit to St Ives the cafe is small and cosy but this adds to its charm. We had the best cream tea ever. The scones were warm and fresh and tasted home made, as did the jam. We would definitely recommend the Olive Cafe to anyone. The staff were friendly and attentive. We would rate the cream tea 10 out of 10 and look forward to a return visit in the future.

To be honest I found Cornish cream tea generally speaking nothing special. It is just a spongy scone with a soft kind of butter and ordinary jam. So when pairing it with a cup of coffee cost £8, it felt like the price of being a tourist. But the experience was good as the shop sat in the corner of picturesque stone paved winding streets, stone houses and small art galleries.

Loved this place. Most amazing blueberry scones and cream…the Prosecco option was exactly what my wife wanted as she is not a tea/coffee drinker. Lovely little spot in heart of st ives, lots of entertainment watching cars tying to turn into the little lane opposite. Great service. Would have given it 5 stars if it had a bigger menu but given the size of kitchen can’t blame them. The salads and sausage roll looked amazing
