Rooms lovely but small, ambience great, spa great but shallow pool, restaurant service very poor, although breakfast staff excellent especially the main waitress, breakfast excellent, evening meal was a shambles and pretty disappointing, however we were compensated. Quality furnishings generally.

Simply no faults whatsoever, guests staying at the same time as me (Dec 21-23) may complain about fire alarm but it was sorted quickly. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Spa and wellness centre was so relaxing. The hotel itself looks and feels fantastic, rooms so clean and homely, not to mention the little gestures here and there.

Fantastic one night spa break, we had a seaview suite which was a fantastic room, very spacious extremly clean and equipped with everything you could expect in a top quality hotel room. We took advantage of the Dinner / BB package and so glad we did. The food was delicious and well worth the extra. Everyone we met at the hotel could not have done any better, first class service better than some of the top hotels around the world we have stayed in, from the welcome when we arrived to the moment we left a wonderful 5 star experience, THANK YOU :)

Stayed here for a wedding and the staff were attentive and friendly. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious and the sea views were wonderful.Walkability: A ten minute walk from St Ives stationNoteworthy details: Stunning views of the open water - you can even see Virginia Woolf's lighthouse

Very small room, a lot of wardrobe space wasted. Excellent choice for breakfast! Evening meal good, but expensive.

Really lovely hotel we had a good view from our window .We had use of the swimming pool steam room and sauna .I didn't book a treatment as there wasn't any for the time I wanted. We ate in the restaurant one evening the food was amazing lots of choice and our waitress was lovely.Would definitely stay again .Rooms: Our room was clean and had a mini bar the bathroom had a bath and a shower which I loved.Nearby activities: The hotel had a swimming pool gym , sauna and steam room it also provided beauty treatments.

Myself, my partner, and my daughter and mum stayed for 3 nights. All in all it was a very nice stay and we would all stay again.Only 2 small Issues spa treatment &Dust on the bath room Window seal.Apart from that everything was perfect.Staff was very helpful Especially Finn at reception.Rachel at the bar, she went above and beyond for our daughter, who was very hyperactive, she made us very comfortable in the bar/restaurant. Especially our daughter was very happy around Rachel!!Grace at the restaurant was amazing, very helpful and made us feel welcome, and entertained/watched our daughter whilst having breakfast. As all three staff members went above and beyond. They are phenomenal, and made our stay.We hope too see you all again soon.Food & drinks: Phenomenal

The hotel is in a good location 5min from the beach at a steady pace. It's the same for town where you will find lots of eating and drinking places I would say there's something for everyone failing that the food in the hotel is excellent I would definitely recommend it. Hope you have a fantastic time here I know I did.

I can highly recommend this hotel. The staff are so helpful, friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. We had a sea view and in the room they provide binoculars which enharned our view and to see the seals bobbing around in the sea. Also House keeping where very professional and quick to make the room up. Thank you. As i don't think they get mentioned enough. And lastly breakfast, from the full English, well presented, to the variety on offer. Fresh fruit salad(not from a tin) to freshly made yoghurt and a few different seeds with you could add yourself if required, also a choice of breads not to mention banana bread. We shall be back in June next year

Lovely location. Walkable to harbour and beach. Breakfast was nice but every day they changed the vegetarian breakfast option, missing sausages or changed to spinach. No parking you have to pull up outside in the bays and someone will park for you. Generally fine but only three bays so if full you have to double park on yellows. The rooms are nice but tired. Ceiling wallpaper coming loose, room lock loose, needs a paint. The kettle is inside the wardrobe which is a bit odd. No table for luggage. Didn’t try the spa so can’t comment. The Restaurant has limited choice and is fairly pricy, steak was good but vegetarian option over cooked and dry. Good location but overpriced imho.
